She instantly snapped up.

"I think at an abandoned house."
"I'm bringing Chris and PJ and the others. Hold on."
The line cut off. I sat in the hospital room.
The longer I stared, the longer the room felt stranger.
I hope Dan will be saved.
Louise pushed through the doors with the others behind her.
"Where is he?"
"Next door."
We all went into Dan's room.
I looked at the heart monitor.
The beats were getting slower.
And all of a sudden,
It stopped.
