Honestly, I was scared. I mean, I've been to many showcases before, but I'm still nervous. What if people jeer at me? What if people yell and throw things at me? What if nobody shows up? What if...
"Dan!" Chris yelled, clapping his hands in my face.
I jumped backwards and blinked. "...Wha'...?"
"The showcase is starting!" PJ cut in, jumping up and down.
I tensed. Already? I don't want to go...
"Come on!" Chris said, walking away with PJ trailing after him.
I saw Phil just shaking by my side. "It's okay. Just follow everyone else," I said, trying to smile a little bit.
His eyes glowed with appreciation. We both made it after Chris and PJ, both very tense. Louise also walked in, and told the order. It was Chris, me, Phil, then PJ. I let out a breath. At least I'm not first.
"It's starting soon," Louise whispered to us.
Right as she finished, the announcement blasted outside the building. "Introducing, the London Showcase!"
