I didn't say anything. I just reached up, and pulled Dan into a hug. I never want to lose you.

After a few minutes, I quietly asked, "Dan?"

"Hm?" He looked up at me.

"What- what about the memories? How are you going to get them back?"

"It's fine, I'll just start over-"

"No, Dan, you've created so many memories you need to remember at least some. Let me ring up some of your friends and we can talk about it, alright?"

He just nodded, then decided to lie back down next to me. I called Louise, Chris, PJ, and the rest of his friends. They decided to come now, which I was fine with.

Barely ten minutes passed, when the door opened to reveal all of Dan's friends. "Dan, meet your friends."

He glanced from one to another, barely recognizing any of them. "I- I think you should him one of your favorite memories with him," I gestured towards Dan. "So he can remember."

Dan smiled at me, and waited for each one to step forward. Louise started. "So a few years ago, we went to an extremely formal dinner with friends and everything- and we wouldn't stop getting butter because the butter to bread ratio was way too low, and the waiter kept judging us because we wanted more butter for our bread-" She cut off, laughing. Dan joined in, and soon all of us did.

Chris and PJ both stepped forward at the same time, and said, "A long time ago, we went to go visit Italy, and you got so childish, you wouldn't stop begging for this, begging for that, to play this, to go visit that..." They both looked at each other then at Dan, and went to go give him a hug.

Connor scratched the back of his neck, stepping forwards. "I remember when you tried to use my totally amazing camera to take some photos but they were all so blurry and you were so mad you almost broke it, then you remembered it was mine and you looked so embarrassed, that was great," he finished, looking at Dan who was dark red. "I - I'm so sorry!" He stuttered. Connor just laughed it off. "It's fine, Dan, it's in the past."

Tyler was soon walking to him. "In March or something, I invited you to a bar where you got so drunk you thought the moon rose from the east every morning and the sun sets in the north every afternoon. You also thought clouds were ghosts of lakes and stuff, that was definitely an experience to remember."

Troye stepped up, and sat next to Dan. "You tried to sing to one of my songs, HEAVEN, while you were half awake and you sounded so horrible, everyone was covering their ears," he finished with a giggle. We all started laughing.

Lastly, Melanie walked to Dan. "I actually haven't seen or been your friend long enough to have such great memories like everyone else, but I remember when you came to Tyler's house, the way your eyes lit up when you talked about your latest obsessions, your new items of clothing, even Phil, how you cared so much about them."

Melanie's short speech left everyone in silence.
