You slowly trudge into your Chemistry lesson, hating the fact it was only Monday and the day had already dragged on.

Normally you would have enjoyed science as your gossip lesson with Elena, however she moved up to a more advanced class leaving you with nobody. Apart from Stefan. You remembered that he was also in this class, however it might get awkward as he'd recently broken up with Elena.

"Y/N your new lab partner is Stefan." Your teacher said as she was changing everyone around, you inwardly groaned. You hadn't really spoken to him alone before, only when he was with Elena.

"Hey." You smile trying to be friendly as you sit down next to him. He smiled back before sorting out all of his papers, then it was awkwardly silent. You heard someone behind you say something about homework and you began to panic, you hadn't done it.
