You walked down the road with Stefan by your side, it felt strange now. Not an awkward strange, but you felt like you didn't know how to act around him.
"You okay? You seem a bit off." He asked as you shook your head.
"Yeah I'm fine, I just feel a bit bad for Damon." You shrugged as he nodded.
"Damon kind of had it coming, I mean he did try to kill you. Twice." He reasoned as you nodded, trying to suppress the guilty feeling.
"I know what you mean Stefan, but I still feel sorry for him. It can't be easy with what just happened." You explained as he nodded. You get to your house and walk up the porch steps.
"Thanks for walking me home." You smile as he stops for a moment, looking down at you with his big dark brown eyes.
