You walked down the road with Damon by your side, it felt strange now. Not an awkward strange, but you felt like you didn't know how to act around him.
"You okay? You seem a bit off." He asked as you shook your head.
"Yeah I'm fine, I just feel a bit bad for Stefan." You shrugged as he nodded.
"Stefan kind of had it coming, I mean we've been friends for much longer.And when you said and acted like you hated me, it made me so upset. Like I'd lost a part of myself." He sighed as you frowned, it reminded you of when you used to be so close to him. How he would say things like that and act... Differently.
"I know what you mean Damon, but I still feel sorry for him. It can't be easy with what just happened." You explained as he nodded. You get to your house and walk up the porch steps.
"Thanks for walking me home." You smile as he stops for a moment, looking down at you with his big pale blue eyes.
