Chapter 2: The Bad Boy Comes

He finally got up to me. I was breathless, and didn't know what to say. I wanted to say something. I just lost track of words. He shrugs his shoulder to the side, and pushes me, making me fall. I drop all of my books and my purse. Everything goes EVERYWHERE!

I hear snickers, and laughs because I fell. I look up to see people patting his back in laughter, or giving him high fives. I roll my eyes, and start collecting my books back up. I sigh, angrily, and stand up.

"Hi, I saw what just happened. Sorry that he did that!" A pretty blonde says, walking up.

"Oh... Um.. Its okay. Who is that jerk?" I asked.

"Oh...erm... That is Jacob Webster." she says.

"Well, Hi! My name is Katlynn Wiebur, but you can just call me Katie" I said.

"Oh, I am Lexi Webster." Says the blonde, who now has a name.

"As in Jacob's sister?" I ask.

"Yeah, and if I were you then I would stay away from him. He is know as the bad boy. He can be an even bigger asshole than that." Lexi explains.

"I knew it." I mumble under my breath.

"What?" Lexi asks.

"Huh? Oh, nothing." I say.

"What is your next class?" Lexi asks.

"Um..." I looked down at my schedule. "Oh, Earth Science!" I say with enough enthusiasm to be on a show that starts with "this show is shot in front of a live studio audience"Anyway...

"Wow. Me too! Let's go!" Lexi says.

I think that I might have just made a new friend. That is actually a big deal for me because I usually don't make very many friends. Yay!

I had a few friends a my old school, but there weren't very many choices, because my high school was pretty tiny. They were really just people I would sit by at lunch and awkwardly eat. We may have gone to a few movies, but it wasn't too fun.

They would sit and talk as I watched some high school movie that was super stereotypical. Not my favorite thing to do, but it satisfied my parents into thinking I had friends.

This is why I want to get a new start at this school. Make real friends, get good grades, and most importantly....HAVE FUN!
