Ch. 3: Prisoners

Legolas's pov

Thallan steps forward with two other elves and they start removing the Ranger's cloaks. The female starts screaming loudly.

"Tampa!" She shrieks. (Stop!) Thallan starts stripping weapons and satchels of her. The other two do the same. The second man smiles slightly to himself when his is cleaned of all his weapons.

"Amin hiraetha." The first man whispers to the girl. (I am sorry) She looks at him with a thankful glance.

"Khila amin." I shout to all my people. (Follow me) I turn to Thallan. "You and Laeroth can take care of the prisoners." He nods and Laeroth walks over and they start tying bonds around them. I lead the way back through the woods back to the palace. I knock on the big wood doors that lead into the throne room.

"Enter." I hear my father's voice boom. I open the door and march down to the throne. I nod my head slightly to my father.

"Ada," I start. "We have found three Rangers and a something." I explain. I see a look of concern flash in his eyes.

"A something?" He inquires. I wave my hand.

"Don't worry about that. Shall I send them to the dungeon and prepare to interrogate them?" He nods.

"Yes." He responds. "But I shall come down later to see." I nod and leave the room, where I run into Thallan and Laeroth and another elf. She nods to me.

"Legolas, we have the Rangers in the dungeon but the creature won't cooperate and we believe he should be kept somewhere else." She explains. I study her closely. She has curly brown hair, that has a few braids in it, and she has bright green eyes. Very beautiful. But I could not overlook the amount of weapons she had on her person.

"What is your name?" I ask with a slight smile, which she does not return.

"Glynnii Elian." She tells me. I nod. I turn to Thallan.

"Do you agree?" I ask.

"Oh yes." he says nodding his head. I stroke my chin.

"Confine this creature to its own cell." I order. "I'll deal with it later."
