Legolas's pov

Glynn stares at the ground, a thoughtful expression on her face. I look at her, trying to read her emotions.

"My father trusts you." I tell her. She looks up and meets my gaze.

"No matter how much he trusts me, it'll never work, Legolas." She says. I am shocked.

"W-what are you talking about, Glynnii?" I stammer. She stares intently at me.

"You know quite well, what I am taking about." She says softly. My heart sinks. I knew this conversation would come. My eyes dart to the open window, which is letting warm days of sun scatter around the room. "Mellonamin, we have grown too fond of each other." I feel heat rise to my face at her words, but her statement is very true. I am growing deep feelings for her. I can not help but like her. She is beautiful, smart and more of a warrior than I will ever be.

"What's so bad about that?" I ask, turning my gaze back to her beautiful face.

She blushes slightly and shifts her feet. "You're a prince, I'm a guard." She mumbles. "And your father wouldn't want it." I grab her hand and pull her on the edge of the bed, causing her face to redden farther.

"Who cares what my Ada thinks?" I whisper. A breeze blows through the window, blowing her curly brown hair around.

"Legolas..." She murmurs, clutching my hand tighter. "Uuner uma, n'dela no'ta." She grins as I laugh, my chest tightening but I do not care.

"Melamin," I whisper as I kiss her hand. She smiles at me and releases my hand.

"Esta sinome, Lirinaer," She tells me, before walking out of the room and leaving me to ponder what had happened. After a while, the soft hum if the wind lulls me to sleep.
