" Its all about who you look for in a crowded

room, that's where your heart belongs to."

It was dark out, I could barely see the outline of Chase's body that stood in front of me, while both Steve and Casey were chasing each other. It was close to midnight and the forest was silent. My nerves were shot and my stomach churned, I didn't have a good feeling about this.

Chase snickered and pulled out a pair of metal snippers that would cut through the metal fence since we couldn't climb over, the building defiantly belonged to the U.S government because everything was on lock and key.

My eyes search through the dark and I hear Chase snicker in front of me, Steve now hunching over beside him while Casey stood quietly next to me. I really didn't understand why we were here but I wanted to leave. Something bad was about to happen, I could feel it.

There was something hovering above the military or experiment base, it almost resembled a UFO but if I brought that up I really would be considered crazy.

"Got it!" Chase exclaimed and my eyes widened, I thought I'd at least have more time to talk myself out of this.

Steve fist pumped the air while Casey hung off his arm, and I knew deep down this night would turn out catastrophic for all of us. I push away my silly doubts and squeeze through the new hole in the metal fence.

I feel a tug on my hand and look up at Chase who smiled reassuringly at me through the darkness and I couldn't help but scowl at him. I could be home, sleeping in my queen sized bed under all of my blankets. But instead I snuck out through my bedroom window in only my onsie and small sweater on top with my uggs.

He just had to convince me to come out here on the coldest night in November just to sneak into a secret government base for what reasons I have no idea.

"Babe, we'll be fine." He says, kissing my cheek before leaving me trailing behind him in the dark.

I huff out and cross my arms over my chest, I was freezing and terrified of the dark. I was afraid of what was in the dark.

I run up to them and shove into Chases arm when they suddenly stopped on the edge of the huge building, it was extremely tall and old looking, like its been up and running for years.

"Why are we here?" I question, and I hear Casey giggle next to Steve.

Rolling my eyes I plant my feet and stand there with my arms crossed over my chest, Chase sighed while bringing a hand through his hair.

"Just to snoop around, we'll only be fifteen minutes tops," He says, kissing my head before sauntering over towards the building.

Were they really going to break in?!

I walk up close and stand on my tippy toes, my eyes scanning the large area. I narrow my eyes and stare at a door, Dr. Fuchs.

Fuchs sounds like it could be German, but if so; why would they be needing a German scientist here if it was just an old army base.

"Shit!" I here someone hiss and my eyes grow wide as I back away from the building, lights were in the sky and alarms were sounding.

"Dogs!" Someone snapped and that's when we started running. Big dogs chasing after us through the field.

I hear shouting from behind us I peak over my shoulder back at them, there were men dressed in white trench coats, and some were dressed in black carrying guns.

I hear Casey scream but kept pushing myself, I enter the beginning of the woods when arms reached out and covered my mouth while pulling me back into the bushes.
