" im feeling time move slow - im seeing faces glow. none of them shine as bright as you tonight."

My body was exhausted from all the pain I've put it through within these last few days. I look around my fathers house before dragging my bags out with me.

Walking down stairs I keep my head down and felt my stomach twist in knots, I was ready to go home but being here felt like I was home too.

I fiddle with my hands before throwing my arms around my fathers shoulders, hugging him tightly as tears fell from my eyes.

Asher and Silas stood by the front door as I hugged my family, "You aren't moving across the world, plus you can come here whenever you want. That room will always be yours," My father whispered in my ear.

My arms tighten around him before I pull away, bringing a hand down my face, wiping away the fallen tears.

Biting my lip I follow my brothers outside towards Silas' car. We jump in and he honks the horn before pulling out of the driveway, heading in the direction the GPS said.

My parents got in early this morning and already had the house all done up, they called and said it was finally time to come home.

I slept the whole drive to the house and was brought out of my nap when Asher began shaking my shoulders like a mad man.

Grumbling I jump out of the car and stumble around before regaining my balance, the house was large and beautiful. Making me question how my parents could afford it.

The lake was right there too, it was a good spot in the middle of the woods. More room for me to wander around.

We walk through the front door and my jaw dropped slightly, the house was all lit up and looked like a place where a rich person would live.

I was pulled into my dads arms before I could even look at him, laughing out I hug him back before pulling away.

"The house is really nice," I state, they both smiled at us and warmth spread throughout my chest.

They may not have made me but they deserved the title as my mom and dad.

"We thought it would be perfect right here on the lake next to the woods, that way you can do whatever it is you do, and Silas can work as well," Dad said and I felt my stomach flip in knots.

Chewing my lip I frown at them, "You guys know about us?" I question, hearing my brothers laugh behind me.

They smile, "Yes we know about you guys and the abilities you have," Mom said, grinning.

"We aren't blind yet honey," Dad says, messing up my hair.

Smiling I swat away his hand and breathe out deeply, "So you guys know I'm a Vampire and witch?" I ask slowly and they stood there with amusement written in their eyes.

"Of course, and we know Silas is a necromancer and Asher here is a sorcerer," Dad says, causing my heart to stutter.
