When Duron called everything in me wanted to go back home because I knew it would possibly lead to more sex but my sister and friends wouldn't let me, they just didn't understand the pull Duron had on me; I've been in love with this dude since I was fourteen when I first saw him walk into the basketball game and seven years later we were still going strong. Yeah he had our arguments and neither my little brother or big sister liked him, but my mom liked him and I loved him which is all that mattered, and as badly as I wanted to tell them that I was getting married I told Duron I would hold off until my birthday party so we could tell everyone at the same time. As we walked through the mall, my best friend Roy kept trying to get me to give him some tips on how to get my sister to go out with him; ever since we were kids he's been trying to get with Serenity but she wasn't having it. After walking around for about an hour we finally sat down to get something to we when the waiter walked over and handed me a drink.

"I didn't order this." I said pulling it away from her because I was still going to drink it, I just wasn't paying for it.

"It's from the gentlemen at the bar, we usually don't serve drinks this early but he was very persistent." She said walking away smiling, I looked over to where she pointed and saw my other best friend Jaire Wright sitting there with that cocky grin on his face. I jumped up and ran over to him pulling him into a brotherly hug.

"Bitch ass dude why didn't you tell me your were going to be here? When did you get back? How long are you going to be here for?" I asked trying to keep my eyes from tearing up, I hadn't seen him in almost a year and I can't lie I missed this dude.

"I didn't tell you because it would've ruined the surprise. I promised you I was going to buy you your first legal drink." He said in that raspy voice of his that was both sensual and commanding. "I got back a couple days ago and I plan on staying for a while...... things didn't work out with the Jazz so I guess I'm home." He said smiling even though I could tell it hurt him that his basketball career wasn't taking off the way we all expected. "Enough about me today is your day, let's get you sloppy drunk for you 21st." Jaire said leading me back over to the table.

"You knew he was back?" I asked punching Roy in the arm.

"Yeah we went out last night, we would've invited you but we knew you had homework and other shyt to handle." Roy said smirking, he looked at Serenity and winked before turning back to me. "So we've all decided that we're not letting you go home until you can't stand up straight."

Five hours later, I was beyond drunk and it wasn't even four o'clock yet, we were sitting in my mom's living room and she was sitting there shaking her head calling us all some drunks. I sat on the couch trying to compose myself when a shadow fell over me and I turned around to see my big little brother Terico standing over me smiling mischievously, while cracking his knuckles.

"Terico you better......" I didn't finish before he started punching every inch of me he could reach. "You play to fuckin much you big ass pussy." I said rubbing my arm and leg, Terico walked over to his girlfriend Brittney and started kissing her.

"So we going out tonight? I don't have class until late tomorrow so I can turn up a little bit for you birthday." Terico said sitting next to me.

"No I'm going home and sleeping, we can get drunk at the party." I said holding my head beause I was starting to feel dizzy. "Y'all are coming right?" I asked looking at all of them.

"You know I'll be there, Doonie has some sexy as friends and I'm trying to see if I can nab me a baller for the weekend." My friend Unique said and I just shook my head, she had already slept with at least five of Duron's friends and by the end of the year it would probably be ten.
