Third person's POV

"Heeeeey, we're home!" Chocho's cheerful voice echoed through the house as she entered with bags full of food. Everyone had returned from their shopping trip, and they all looked exhausted, especially Shikadai, who appeared on the verge of collapsing.

They had bought an abundance of food, seemingly concerned that there might not be enough. Himawari took charge of organizing everything, her own weariness evident. When she looked at her big brother, Boruto, who was putting the last bag of salad into the fridge, she noticed a distant look in his eyes.

To get his attention, she gently ran her fingers through his messy, blonde hair. "What are you thinking about, Onii-chan?" she asked, tucking some strands of her black and blue hair behind her ear.

Boruto closed the fridge and glanced down at his little sister. It had been a while since their mother had left them, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of responsibility. "We don't have any money, Himawari," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper.

Himawari furrowed her brow at his unusually quiet response. "So what's the problem?" she inquired, unsure if this was a serious issue or not. As she saw the fear darken his eyes, all her hope seemed to vanish, and she held her breath.

"Onii-chan?" She became increasingly worried as she saw the serious expression on his face.

Boruto sighed deeply. "I did something stupid again," he admitted, carrying the weight of something he hadn't shared with anyone else. "I'm sorry for telling you that Mom would only be gone for a few months..."

Himawari's eyes widened in shock, and tears welled up in her blue eyes. Everything had seemed fine until the truth emerged, especially now that they had bought so much food, which had used up the remainder of their money. Why hadn't he told her about this earlier?

"W-what?!" she exclaimed, her voice nearly cracking as she felt an emptiness engulf her.

Boruto glanced out of the window, watching as the weather outside worsened. "Because I told her to stay longer with Aunt Hanabi... and she told me that she can't send any money since she temporarily stopped working," he explained with a sense of regret.

"Why didn't she tell us sooner?!" Himawari cried out, her distress growing by the moment. The uncertainty of their future weighed heavily on her mind.

"Because she thought the money she left us with would be enough," Boruto answered, realizing he shouldn't have waited so long to share this information. He wiped sweat from his face, feeling the pressure of the situation.

Himawari didn't know how to react. Too many problems were piling up all at once, and it was pushing her to the edge. "But what are we gonna do?! I don't want her to be gone for so long!" she lamented, clutching her skirt tightly.

Boruto held his little sister in a comforting embrace, understanding her worries. "Calm down, Himawari. We mustn't lose hope. I know what we need to do to get through this," he assured her, giving her a reassuring smile.

Himawari looked at the ground, wiping away her tears. The situation seemed dire, but Boruto's words offered her a glimmer of hope. "H-how?" she asked, her voice still trembling.

"Trust me," Boruto said with a wink, gently patting her head. "There's a person named Tsunade..."

You and Sarada sit together on Himawari's bed, both of you sulking as the reality of their situation weighs heavily on your shoulders. You can't help but feel overwhelmed by the sudden turn of events.

"Fuck my life and fuck you too," you mutter under your breath, directing your frustration at Sarada. You're upset that she didn't share this information with you earlier, but you also understand that she might have her reasons.
