I took a deep breath.
I did not need to fall for him. I knew that. Every little voice in my head was yelling at me to stay away from him. My legs ached to run away. But I knew that wasn't happening.
Wasn't this all just to make my father mad? It seems a whole lot more than that now.
"Go on," I say, my voice tiny. He gives me a small smile.
"What's wrong, Ness?" He asked, innocently. He knows exactly whats wrong. He knows how overcome and weak I feel right now. Just a glance, just a smile, will send my heart flying. Everything he did made me feel so uneasy. So...vulnerable...
And for some reason I don't like feeling weak when Christopher is around.
"Well," I need to speak the truth. "Christopher I don't think you understand. How do you do that?" My voice came out so furstrated. Probably because I've never even looked at a guy before and its just so weird feeling this way.
His smile grew, only making my heart beat worse. "Do what?"
"You know what I mean." I say, crossing my arms across my lap.
"No, I actually don't." His face is so smug right now. Why does he enjoy this so much?
I scrowl at him. "You...make me...nervous..." I didn't know how to say it. No words can describe how strange he makes me feel.
"Nervous?" He shakes his head. "I know how I make you feel. That's how you should feel."
"Should?" Now I was just confused. He was acting like this was all his plan.
"I'll tell you later, we're at your house." He retorted.
"I think your stalling..." I mutter, grabbing my heavy backpack and slinging it on.
"Stalling?" He laughs. "Watch your window tonight, and your learn that's not something I do."

Mom is giving me the silent treatment.
I can't tell if this is better or worse than the speeches. Deciding it's better, I ran upstairs away from her. If she's not going to talk, fine.
After about one hour, I fling my pencil across the room. I don't get it. I've been working on my homework and I just don't get it.
I decided to do it later, right now my head is too foggy.
Glancing at the clock, I agree silently that a small nap can fit into my time.
Sleep took me over in one second.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When I woke up, the whole "small nap" thing blew up.
It was 8:00 when I fell asleep. It's 12:30 right now.
Burying my head into my pillow, I remembered what Christopher said.
The floor creaked under my feet as I made my way towards the balcony. Looking out, I saw a dark figure in the shadows of our house.
Watching my window.
"Christopher?" I whispered.
"I told you to watch. Now, back up, before I have to knock you over."
I backed up and watched as he quickly climbed the vines wrapped around my house.
Soon, he was standing right in front of me.
"What are you doing here?" I hissed, trying to be as quiet as possible.
He took my face in his hands. "I told you, I'm not the tpye who stalls."
"Are you serious?" I whisper, all anger gone from my voice. He couldn't do that to me.
"You will never understand how long I have waited. So, yes, I'm serious." His voice is gentle and he's staring at me directly. His focus only on me.
"So don't wait anymore." My voice was so quiet, I thought at first he didn't hear me.
But when he leaned in to kiss me, I knew he heard me loud and clear.
