The Missing Pieces(A Naruto Reader Insert)

Cured

It has been two damn days since you were placed inside the tank. The body has needs but thankfully you were able to control said needs otherwise you would have no where to do your necessities.

Despite the lack of sleep and food, you were able to manage. But since last night you haven't been feeling so well. Your insides feel like burning, the sensations wasn't that intense but throughout the day, it has increased.

You grit your teeth, shutting your eyes tightly as much as you could. However, your chakra  involuntarily began to seep through your skin and began to fill the tank, you opened them. Your eyes shifted from every single body part, and then outside.

Everyone rose to their feet alarmed, Sasuke and Goro glared at Kabuto almost ready to attack. Yun and Aki were gone, though they were with you all night.

"Wait, what is happening to her body is normal." Kabuto began to  look around until he gathered a few more items.  This time smaller tubes filled with a liquid were gathered.

Then you began to skirm, the insides of your body not only did it hurt but you had to remove the mask in order to cough up blood. It wasn't new, you have suffered this before but the ones outside haven't, so what they were watching was sending them into a worried frenzy.

Then, your skin began to turn to ash but as it did, new one was already starting to form. It was as if your body was trying to get rid of old and dead skin and then creating a better version.The pain, it was too great to ignore. You began to shake even more, you even placed your hands on the glass as if it would help relieve the pain.

You weren't sure how long you stood there in pain, but eventually your brain decided that it would be best to take a rest and it began to shut down every function of the body.

As you slid down the glass, everyone made a move towards the tank only to be stopped by Kabuto. "If you hadn't noticed, he chakra is still surrounding her body, whomever touches it will be poisoned and there's really no cure for it." He warned narrowing his eyes turning around. There's one, but at the current situation you won't be able to help them.

For a few minutes they had to watch you stay in that defenseless state. But eventually, the chakra began to retreat back into your body. Once it was completely gone, Kabuto tried to open the tank, but it got stuck so he just broke the damn thing not even caring that he could get injured. As soon as your body was available to grab, he took the chance and took you into his arms. He rushed into an empty room and the returned back to get what he needed.

Once he was back into the room, he began to inject something into your body. Once he was out of  injections, he covered your body with a blanket and backed away from the bed.

He felt so relieved that you will be fine now, now you won't have to worry about dying anymore. A smile appeared on his face, one that held no malice. The others had been watching, and they noticed that smile. Goro and Sasuke knew that smile too well.

Oh,their glare intensified. With a cloth he began to clean the sweat forming on your forehead. "She needs rest, by too morrow she'll be back on her feet."

His words were meant for the males so that they could leave the room. With glares they exited the room only leaving him to tend to you.

All night he made sure that nothing would happen to you while still recuperating. Even as of now, you never cease to amaze him. Of course he knew that the cure would work but he never imagined how.

Now that is morning, he had to remove his glasses to rub his eyes. They felt very dry and rather itchy. For days he kept himself awake in order to get here faster and also to make sure you obtained the cure as soon as possible.
