It has been over a month since you arrived, day and night has the battle taken place. However, no matter how much you help the injured is not enough. You would have preferred to fight but apparently you are needed to help the injured.

To help the injured is an importantly task because the amount of dead Shinobi/Kunoichi would increase. You have understand that more that any one else, but there's a part of you that feels that you could do so much more to help.

It's so stressful to see wounded after wounded, you're soaked to the bone already with that crimson liquid. some of it is already dried and some parches of your clothing is still fresh. At the beginning you changed often but seeing that no matter how many times you changed, you would still get dirty while helping those who needed help.

Sakura sometimes left to help on the battle field only leaving you in charge so you had to give instructions and also help healing those who needed it.

For a moment exhaustion washes over your entire being making you feel dizzy, of course you are strong and your body is strong and can last days without any proper rest, but you're not indestructible. You're still human and you still need to rest.

Taking a long deep breath, you pull away smiling at the now healthy woman. She stands to her feet and utters a 'thank you' before she heads to get something to eat before heading back to battle once more.

That was the last one, so now you have some time to at least take some fresh air. With that in mind, you head outside of the populated area and once you see a desirable spot you take a seat. That spot has been used before, there is a pile of ashes from a fire that has been lit there before, and there's a log big enough to fit at least three people. Taking a deep breath, you take a seat. It is dark already however the darkness isn't something to be worried about. The wind carried chilly air to those around. It doesn't bother you, on the contrary, it's rather peaceful and calming.

"Hey." Kiba greets as he walks forward along with Akamaru.  On his hand, there is a torch to light up the location. He searches around and finally finds a good place to stick it on the ground. Once he's satisfied, he turns around and joins you.

His four legged companion made himself comfortable at your side,  you begin to run your fingers through his fur. Despite the exhaustion and stress, just that action is enough to release you from some stress. "Hey, are you injured?" You ask pulling away and noticing blood on his jacket you turn away from Akamaru and inspect him a little.

He laughs nervously as you inspected some parts of his body, like arms and chest. "Ah, no, I'm fine." Despite enjoying the feeling of your fingers touch his skin, he grabbed your hands to stop you from continuing with your inspection. " You haven't taken rest, have you?"His tone is so serious and he's probably worried.

How many times have people asked you? You've lost count, you understand about Thier worry but with so many getting injured, you find it difficult to sleep."I'm fine, don't worry."

However, he knows he should worry because he knows you're not indestructible. "You should sleep, I don't want you dead just yet."

Looking away from him, you restart running your fingers through Akamaru's fur once again. Laughing you shake your head. "I don't plan to either. I'll just check if there are any one with serious wounds, if I'm not needed that's what I'll do."

"Good." For the remainder of the time you both remain silent however you noticed that Kiba scooted closer to your side not leaving any space for even air to get between you both.

"Speaking of rest, since you just came back you might as well get some sleep." Restraining a yawn, you tell him. Damn, how many days has it been since you slept? Almost a week? No wonder why you felt so tired and sleepy. How you stayed on your feet for that long must have been adrenaline.

Those eyes of Kiba widen when he feels a weight on his shoulder, when he turns he head to the side, he notices that you were already asleep. You head resting on his shoulder, just watching you like that makes his heart flutter.

Just a few hours, that's all he wants. How could he not take advantage of such a wonderful situation? He places his arm around you, and upon feeling the warmth in the chilly afternoon, you snuggle close to him. His nostrils catch the smell of blood, and although it's quite strong it doesn't bother him. Your presence is enough to keep that smell from being bothersome.

How great it feels to have you in his arms, it feels as if you belong there. After a little over three hours, he can feel the weather get colder and he knows it's time to go back. With a sigh of dread, he gathers you in his arms and stands on his feet. After securing you in those arms of his, he glances down at your face and smiles. You look so at peace, which calm his own troubled thoughts.

Finally he heads back to the camp, and soon he's stopped by none other than Naruto. Those blue eyes are marked with worry once they lie on your unconscious form.

"What happened to her!" In an instant the few meters that separated them was closed.

Kiba frowns tightening his hold on you. "She's fine Naruto, she's just tired."

"Here, I'll take her to her tent." Naruto offers trying to take you away from Kiba's arms. Upon the action, you moved a little and then continued to sleep.

However that only agitates Kiba, he pulls back with a hiss. "I can do so myself."

Sakura is watching and a frown tugs at her lips. She understands you, she does but there's something that she doesn't like. Of course trouble will brew up and conflict between friends because all of them want to capture your interest.

As she watches the two argue, she growls and stomps her way to the two males. "Jeez. Here, I'LL take her there. Can't you see she's tired?" Rather forcefully, she takes you into her own arms.

Grumbling, she heads to your tent. "Those inconsiderate and selfish fools." She mutters as she arrives to your bed where she places you on. With a frown she tucks you in. "She's drenched in blood." But she's in no better condition. Shaking her head she watches you and then heads outside to get something to eat.

Those guys, can't they control themselves? Can't they see that you have your plate full? Of course they don't. Glaring at Kiba and Naruto on her way, she clenches her first and threatens then both.

Said males shut their mouths and glance at one another not entirely sure what in the world just happened though, they are not about to find out. So instead, they turn around and leave.
