"Tell me where he is and I won't hurt you or your brother" Zuko says to Katara once she is tied to a tree.

"Go jump in the river!" Katara spits angrily.

"Try to understand. I need to capture him to restore something I've lost, my honor. Perhaps in exchange I can restore something you've lost" my cousin says, holding up a blue necklace to her neck.

"Zuko!" I say, ashamed that he would go to these lengths.

"My mother's necklace! How did you get that?" Katara whispers in fear, eyes darting to me.

"I didn't steal it, if that's what you're wondering. Tell me where he is" he growls angrily, fed up with this. "No!" Katara cries out.

"Enough of this necklace garbage! You promised a scroll!" the pirate screams angrily.

"I wonder how much this is worth ..." Zuko trails off, holding a scroll over a small fire. The pirates gasp "A lot, apparently. Now you help me find what I want, you'll get this back, and everyone goes home happy. Search the woods for the boy and meet back here!"

The men scurry off quickly, leaving Zuko, Iroh and I.

"How could you do this!?" Katara asks, struggling "I healed you! I thought you were our friend, my friend!"

I turn to Katara, expression pained. "I'm sorry Katara, my situation, it is so complicated..you wouldn't understand" I whisper, turning around.

"Hey!" a voice cries from the woods, moments later Sokka and Aang are revealed.

"Nice work" Zuko chuckles.

Sokka and Aang look up, catching me in their gaze. While Aang looks confused and hurt, Sokka just seems angry.

"I'm sorry Aang, this is all my fault" Katara whispers, ashamed.

"No Katara, it isn't" Aang tries in hopes to console her.

"Yeah, it kinda is" Grandpa states, resulting in a glare from Katara.

"Give me the boy" Zuko growls, holding out the scroll. "You give us the scroll" the pirate demands angrily.

"You're really gonna hand over the Avatar for a stupid piece of parchment?" Sokka questions, cocking a brow. "Your friend is the Avatar?" one pirate asks in surprise.

"Sure is, and I'll bet he'll fetch a lot more on the black market than that fancy scroll" he replies back smoothly.

"Shut your mouth, you Water Tribe peasant!" Zuko snarls angrily. Agreeing, Aang says "Yeah Sokka, you should really shut your mouth."

"I'm just sayin' it's bad business sense. Think how much the Fire Lord would pay for the Avatar. You guys would be set for life" Sokka explains, continuing on to the pirates.
