"Look man you either give us the money or give us your life. You choose." I said with a pistol in my hands.

My dad sat in the corner as I handled his business.

"I ain't got any money to give." The man said that was tied up to a wooden chair.

I looked back at my dad, waiting on him to tell me what to do.

"Kill em'." He said while smoking a black and mild.

I pulled the trigger and his brains when everywhere. I shut my eyes tightly not wanting to see all the blood.

"Good job son. I thought you were gonna' bitch out." My pops said and patted my back.

I sighed and wiped my face free from the blood.

"How's your ma?" Dad asked.

"The same pretty much. It's just she is kinda struggling."

"If she struggling help her out boy. You make pretty good money."

"I'm not about to let my mama find out what I do." I told him and checked my phone.

I had four missed calls from Noel and some text messages.

Noel: baby?
11:05 pm

Noel: can you call me back as soon as possible? I haven't heard from you all day.
11:07 pm

Noel: im starting to worry King.
11:08 pm

"You listening to me boy." My dad said.

"What did you say?" I asked as I ignored Noel's text and placed my phone back into my pocket.

"I said tell your mom I miss her and that I love her."

I chuckled. "Yea okay, sure you do."

"I do."

"If you did you wouldn't have cheated on her."

"That was years ago."

"So." I said. I looked at my Rolex. "I need to go. So, see ya pops."

"Alright. Bye. And help ya moms out."

"I'll think about it." I said walking out of the warehouse and getting into my car.

As I was driving I decided to call Noel back.

The phone rang a couple of times then she answered.

"Hello?" Her voice sounded groggy and raspy like she had been crying.

"Wassup? What's wrong with you?" I asked concerned.

She did a loud sigh then I heard her mother in the background.

"I know you ain't on that damn phone."

"King, I gotta go." She whispered and hung up.

I didn't know what that was all about.
