Ethan sighed as he laid the girl down. He laid his right hand on her forehead, his left hand on his own. He mumbled a few words as a grey dust escaped her body. He opened one of the bottles on his belt and collected every bit of the dusk. "Thank you," he said sarcastically. The girl opened her eyes which were a deep green. "W-who are you? Where am I?" she rattled. Ethan suppressed a sigh and instead painted a smirk on his face. He bowed mockingly and sarcastically, one hand on his chest while the other was stretched out. "Welcome to Hell."

"Hi, so, uh, I'm Ethan," the blue haired boy stuttered. He was avoiding all eye contact and instead focused on his fingers. Tyler leaned back in his chair, scanning the boy with his blue-grey eyes. From his blue hair to his black sneakers. He had a nervous aura around him – mainly because of his stance, with his knees to the inside and his shoulders pulled up. "Thank you. Take a seat next to Tyler." Tyler put his hand in the air. He grinned at the boy who was now sitting next to him.

-5 years later: Tyler and Ethan age 19-

Ethan jumped out of the tree, his satisfied smirk plastered as always on his pink lips. "Let's see if you can do it too," he dared. Tyler smiled as he boared his blue eyes into Ethan's. "Challenge accepted." He grabbed the branch and swung a little before jumping down, landing on hands and feet. He hit the ground exactly as they heard the clock hit twelve. "Now that's what I call timing," Ethan said with an overly fake impressed face, right before bursting into laughter.

The afternoon left and the evening came. The sun slowly went down. Tyler could make out the figure of Ethan sitting in the tree. He climbed up, sitting next to Ethan. "Are you alright? You're never this quiet." Ethan smiled. "I'm fine." "No, whenever you say that, you're not. You know you can tell me, but I won't force it onto you. Just know you can trust me." He took Ethan's smaller hand in his own and pressed his lips onto it. "I just don't want you to get hurt."

He rubbed his back up and down. He could feel his shirt becoming wet of his friend's tears. He rested his chin on top of his head. It was a little awkward because they were still in a tree but it was still perfect. Slowly, Ethan stopped sobbing, and pulled out of the embrace. "Thank you..." His hazel eyes were filled with tears, but still a sweet smile tugged on his lips. "Thank you so much."

Tyler smiled softly at the boy sleeping in his lap. He played a little with his blue hair, their fingers intertwined. "I love you," he mumbled to the younger boy. "Not that I'd ever admit it when you're awake." He planted a soft kiss on his cheek and Tyler could swear he smiled in his sleep.

"I'd go to hell for you."

"Ethan? Ethan?" Ethan had always been very sick. A little too much pressure and he...would die. It had been a reality for Ethan yet a nightmare for Tyler. Although he knew it would happen eventually, he never imagined to sit next to his friend as he laid on his hospital bed, holding his hand as he listened to the heavy breathing of Ethan.

"Hey Tyler," he heard a soft voice. He held on tighter onto Ethan's hand to tell him he heard him. "Remember...when we were walking on...the beach? I really liked that. If I get...out of here, can we do...that again?" Tyler wiped his eyes quickly. "Of course," he said, a faint smile appearing on his face. "Or when we were...racing through the...forest? I can't race...for a while, but...could I sit on the back of your bike?" "I...I would love to." Ethan smiled, his tired eyes focusing on Tyler. "See? I'm...getting out of here...and we're are going...to do those things again...so please...please...don't cry."
