For the past few days, I have been trying to be happy about this story. I literally smile (evil smirk 😏) whenever I think about what I've planned for this book. However, I can't write for a while because of some personal problems bombarding me with tearful eyes. I am so sorry to say this.
I will be continuing this story after some time. I just don't feel the spark with Dawn and Silas this time. I am sure it will come back cause I adore them with every single creative fiber of my being. And when it does, trust me you'll get so many updates and even double updates. Don't hate me for this.
But I just need a break from Dalas (Silas and Dawn). Meanwhile, I will be updating my new book 'Disaster Queen' cause the spark is there now. You'd be happy to know that Neal and Jules are as fun as Silas and Dawn if you gave that book a try. Besides, in my opinion, they are sexier than Dalas. 🔥_🔥
I will ask you not to hate me again. 😢

Since I can't give you an update, let's go on about some facts on 'Husband with Benefits'.
| 1 | It all started with a nightmare where I woke up, thanking God to give me such an original start.👀
| 2 | The Dawn I had in mind looked almost like a Russian model Lidia Savoderova.
| 3 | Silas's appearance is based on an Indian actor Aditya Roy Kapur.😍
| 4 | 'Silas' means God of trees and forests. I heard the name in The Vampire Diaries and looked up the meaning. It went so well with Silas's green eyes that I just had to use it.
| 5 | Dawn's name was chosen for its literal meaning. Since Silas's life had been passed in darkness, I entered Dawn as the light in his life.
| 6 | Most of the writers have plans in advance, but when I started this series all I had was Silas and Dawn and my own nightmare that I used as a prologue.😅
| 7 | I wanted to make their relationship 'no strings attached' and just about sex but with a twist of fate, I had to make it romantic, poetic, obsessive, cheesy and goals for couples.😏
| 8 | Silas and Dawn are loosely based on Pip and Estella from 'Great Expectations'.
| 9 | The ending came to me when I was about four chapters away from the epilogue. Yes, I wandered in the forest with no map. *rolls eyes*
| 10 | Silas was supposed to be the 'playboy' who sucks at business. But that's too mainstream.😫
| 11 | Silas and Dawn were supposed to have the same age. And Dawn was originally blond.
