I'll get to my boring-ass lifestory.
I started writing when I was in seventh grade, in my native language first, then in English. Throughout the later years in high school, I worked on a book I couldn't finish. I would change the plot, the title, the characters' personalities. I had to take a break from that.
Would you believe me if I say that I wrote the prologue of 'Husband with Benefits' after dreaming the situation?
I only had one scene to begin with. I dreamt that I woke up next to a naked stranger and my mom was staring at me. The teen me thought it was an excellent start. Not really original, but I could transfrom into something. So, I posted four chapters on Wattpad and the story was ranking the second day. I couldn't believe my own eyes. The cliche title of the first book attracted so many readers. Truth to be told, I would never read a book called 'Husband with Benefits' unless I knew how the writer's other works were.
Now, I was inspired to write the whole thing. I kept my other stories on hiatus, and started writing 'Husband with Benefits', making it up as I went. Let me disappoint you for a moment. My default plot was just another Romantic Comedy where they go through a contract marriage, date other people, get jealous and eventually realize that they are in love.
