Betrayal (Pt. 2) - Aiden

Weeks had passed and you hadn't spoken to Aiden or Ethan. You lost your best friend and your boyfriend. The heartbreak was horrible, and you spent a lot of time alone. You still went to school, but avoided them at all costs.

Every once awhile you would hang out with Scott and Stiles or Lydia and Allison to forget about it, but you just couldn't.

One day you were in the preserve, sitting on a big rock that was looking out at the whole town. It looked small but content with itself. You would come here often to clear your mind and try to find happiness.

As you were sitting there you heard footsteps. You jumped to your feet and pulled out your claws, ready to pounce on what was to come out of the woods.

You stood there and saw someone come out of the woods. It was no other than Aiden. You put your claws away and just turned around, not wanting to look at him.

"(Y/n)."

You didn't move.

"(Y/n)! I need to talk to you."

You still didn't move.

He walked over to you and spun you around. As soon as you faced him you roared a louder than you should've and showed your teeth.

He just laughed, "Come on (y/n), stop it."

You spoke through your fangs, "Leave me alone."

"I can't! You're all I think of, day and night! Please (y/n) forgive me!"

You were back in your human form now, "How can I when you killed one of my pack members! Boyd was my family!"

"Come on you know a pack is just people you fight alongside."

"You're only saying that because you were with Deucalion! You don't know what a real pack is!", tears were forming in your eyes from talking about Boyd. The pack hasn't spoken about him much.

"(Y/n), I didn't mean to make you cry.", he went to touch you but you backed away.

"Why would I want the hands that murdered my friend touching me?", that came out like a knife and he slowly put his hand down.

"I need you (y/n). Please."

"Aiden I miss you too, alright? I think of you all the time. I cry myself to sleep from missing you. You need to know that I'm not heartless, what you did really hurt me."

"I know. I shouldn't have done it."

"Now you say that? You didn't care a minute ago. I don't even know who you are anymore. I wonder if the Aiden I did know was fake."

"The Aiden you used to know was real. I care about you, and I'll treat you like a princess. I love you! That I can promise."

You didn't know what to do. A part of you was saying to leave him and forget him, he killed Boyd. But another part of you was saying to forgive him, you still love him.

You sighed and looked in his glossy eyes, "Aiden I want to forgive you, but I don't know if I can trust you. You betrayed me."

"I promise I will never break your trust again. I promise I will be good and I will fight with your pack, not against it. The alpha pack was never the pack we needed, we were never family, we need your pack. And I need you."

"It will take some time for me to completely trust you again, but I'll work on it."

He smiled at you and went to hug you but stopped. He knew it would take time for you to feel safe in his arms again.

"I'm so happy to have you in my life again (y/n). I need you."

You smiled for the first time in a long time, "I need you too Aiden."
