Freezing - Parrish

After the recent death of a hellhound, the pack has been trying to get any lead they could. It was getting more and more difficult each day, nothing was coming up. Nothing at all, until Lydia had a premonition. She heard a strange noise and she wanted to pinpoint where it came from. Finally she figured it out, it was from Eichen House.

"It's the closed unit."

Parrish looked at her and spoke sternly, "You're not going back to Eichen, and you're definitely not going anywhere near the closed unit."

"What if there's a connection to the dead hellhound?"

"What if you go there again and someone tries to kill you? Which, by the way, happens every time you go in there."

"It's our only lead."

"I'm not letting you near that place."

"Then you and (y/n) come with me."

"Or I can go alone."

You looked at him like he was crazy, "You're not going alone."

"Yes I am, I'm not putting you or Lydia in danger."

"Jordan I have claws and fangs, I'll be fine, please let me come."

"(Y/n) no. If something happened to you, well I'd never let it go. I would hate myself for the rest of my life."

You sighed, knowing you weren't going to win, "Fine, but if anything and I mean anything goes wrong, you let me and Lydia know. Call us, text us, or even yell because I'll be able to sense it."

"I will (y/n), don't worry.", he smiled at you and you smiled back.

"You promise you'll be careful?"

"I promise."

~Time Skip~

Jordan went to Eichen, so you and Lydia were at his desk back at the station. You were waiting for him to return and tell you if he found anything.

You and Lydia were discussing anything you thought would pertain to the other hellhound appearing out of nowhere. As you were talking, Lydia suddenly stopped and she had her head tilted towards her left.

"What is it? What's wrong?"

She looked over to the radios sitting on top of a file cabinet, "I hear something."

She walked over to them and you followed right behind her. She picked one up and began turning the dial on top, trying to get a signal. All of a sudden the frequency changed and a radio wave was finally coming through. Lydia pressed the button and spoke into the speaker, "Hello."

As you were waiting for some sort of reply, you suddenly felt a rush of cold air against your skin. You started to shiver uncontrollably.

"(Y/n)? (Y/n) are you okay?", Lydia grew concerned.

"Y-yeah, I just...", out of nowhere you had this weird feeling take over you. You couldn't understand what it was until it hit you, Jordan was in trouble. It was the same type of connection Scott had with Allison, you just knew when he needed help.

You were about to say something but you heard something on the radio, "Even you can freeze solid, Deputy Parrish."

You looked at Lydia, "We need to go. Now."

~Time Skip~

You made it to the closed unit in Eichen. It was dimly lit, damp, and you could hear water dripping along with the electricity crackling. It was not a nice place, especially for two supernaturals.

You both began to walk down the corridor. You called out, "Jordan?"

Lydia called out too, "Hello?"

You used your amplified hearing to try and hear anything that could lead you to Jordan. As you were walking you heard some other patients whispering, but then you heard a man's voice, "We should be killing them."

You looked at Lydia and she had a look on her face which matched yours, "Lydia, you heard that?"

"Yeah, it's echoing in my head." She looked forward and began to speed up, "This way!"

You followed her and you both stopped a few doors down from a room with smoke or maybe fog coming out of it. You heard Jordan yell, "Wait!" That was enough for the two of you to run to the room. As soon as you got there the man spoke, "I can't be afraid anymore."

He had a gun pointed at Jordan and he was ready to shoot. Lydia screamed, using it to throw him across the room and into the wall. You ran over to Jordan and knelt down next to him. You spoke softly to calm him down, "Don't worry Jordan, we're getting out of here."

You helped him stand up and you led him out of the freezing room. He looked at you, "H-how d-did you k-know I was in t-trouble?"

You looked at Lydia and smiled at her, she smiled back, "We both have a connection with you. The banshee and the hellhound are connected, and well we're just connected through love."

He was freezing but he still managed to smile, "I love you so much (y/n)."

"I love you too Jordan.", you quickly kissed his ice cold lips, "Now come on, let's get out of Eichen so you can warm up. And how about we never come back?"

Lydia sighed, "Agreed!"
