Bitten - Scott

It was pouring rain, it was cold, you were terrified, and you just ran. You ran as fast as you could, away from the glowing red eyes that were chasing you, but your human speed wasn't enough. Next thing you know, you're on the ground and the alpha is on top of you, scratching and clawing at you until it finally sinks it's teeth into your side.

You screamed out in pain and went to push it off of you, but it ran away as soon as you were bit. You sat there breathing heavily, relieved you were safe, until fear washed over you again when you realized, you had been bit by an alpha.

You stood up and started running through the rain again. You were headed to the only place you knew you could go, your best friend Scott's house.

Once you got to his house, you started pounding on the door, "Scott! Scott!"

The door flew open almost immediately, "(Y/n)! What's wrong? Are you okay?"

You just shook your head as tears started streaming down your face.

"It's okay, you're okay, come inside."

You walked in the house and Scott just looked at you after he shut the door, "(Y/n), you're soaked and you're covered in blood. What happened?"

You tried to speak but your throat tightened as more tears fell from your eyes, so all you did was lift your shirt to show him the bite on your side.

"(Y/n), how" he paused, "how did this happen?"

You wiped your eyes and took a deep breath in, "I was home, and I heard noises outside. I was scared but I still went to see what it was," you swallowed the lump in your throat and looked down, "it chased me and I tried to run, but I couldn't get away."

"Hey, everything's going to be alright. You'll be alright."

You looked at him, "What if I can't control it? What if I hurt someone?", you started to pace back and forth and get louder, "I never wanted to be bit, I never wanted these powers, and now I have them because I was stupid enough to go outside when I shouldn't have!"

"(Y/n)—,"

You kept talking and pacing, "I wasn't even bit by you! I was bit by some random alpha who, for all we know, could be in the next town! What if he wants something from me?!"

"(Y/n)!"

You stopped, looked at him, then looked down again.

He walked over to you and moved your face to look at him, "You're not stupid, you were scared and let the fear control you, and that's okay. You're going to be alright, I'm going to help you every step of the way. You don't need to be afraid, and I don't want you to be angry with yourself. Okay?"

You nodded and smiled ever so slightly, "Thank you Scott."

He smiled back, "You know I'd do anything for you."

You moved in and hugged him tightly. He wrapped his arms around you and returned the embrace. You stayed there for awhile, until you started shivering because of your wet clothes.

He pulled away, "Why don't you go clean up? I'll give you some clothes to borrow and you can stay the night, okay?"

"Yeah, thank you."

"Of course."

Scott gave you a pair of his sweatpants and one of his t-shirts to borrow. So, you showered, put them on, and settled in for the night.

You walked out of the bathroom and saw he had the bed ready for you, while he was laying a blanket out on the floor.

"Scott, what are you doing?"

"You can sleep in my bed, I'll sleep on the floor."

"You're not sleeping on the floor."

"Where else am I going to sleep?"

You rolled your eyes, "Your bed is big enough for two people."

"I want you to have the bed to yourself."

"Honestly, the last thing I want right now is to be by myself."

"I'll still be right here."

"No, that's not what I want."

"You want me to sleep with you?"

"I know it sounds stupid, but—,"

He cut you off, "No, it's not stupid."

"Are you sure?"

He smiled, "Positive."

You smiled a little as you both got into bed. You both moved around to get comfortable, so you ended up with your backs to each other.

You were laying there, and you couldn't fall asleep. All you saw was the alpha attacking you every time you closed your eyes, and all you could think of was anything that could go wrong with your powers.

As you were laying there, Scott whispered, "(Y/n)?"

You turned to face him, "Yeah?"

"You don't need to be afraid, I'm here, and I'll always be here, okay?"

You knew he'd be monitoring your emotions, so you nodded, "I know, I'll try."

With that, he pulled you close to him and held you tightly. You instantly rested your head on his chest and held onto him. Normally you'd be reluctant to do anything even remotely romantic like this, because you never wanted to ruin the friendship you guys shared, but right now you needed this.

After laying like that for awhile, you both started to drift off to sleep.

Scott sleepily muttered, "I love you."

You smiled and hugged him tighter. "I love you too."

Right before you finally fell asleep, you thought about what he said. You wondered if it was just his exhaustion talking, because you definitely meant it. Turns out, as you would find out the next morning, he meant it too.

Honestly this is one of the worst imagines I've ever written. My idea was so good but I did not write it well at all. Oh well, I hope you guys enjoyed it nonetheless.
