Almost Gone - Isaac

You and the pack were at Oak Creek so you could save Lydia and catch the nogitsune. As you were walking in, Isaac looked over at you.

"(Y/n), are you okay?"

"Just scared out of my mind, that's all."

"You don't have to do this. I'd actually feel a lot better if you didn't."

"No, I need to do this. For Lydia, and for Stiles. We need to save the both of them. The only problem is, I just have this terrible feeling that something awful is going to happen tonight," you scoffed, "and I'm not even a banshee."

"It's not just you, I think everyone feels that way," he sighed, "so please be careful, okay?"

You stopped walking, causing Isaac to stop too. You looked at him and smiled slightly before cupping his face and kissing him.

"I'll try my best, promise me you'll do the same."

"I will."

You looked at him one last time before you both ran off to fight the Oni.

As you were fighting, you kept looking around to make sure everyone was okay. They were all taking a beating, but they were alright, and that's all that mattered to you.

At point, you were able to knock the mask off the Oni you were fighting, so it vanished. This gave you time to look around again. You noticed Allison had shot the Oni Isaac was fighting with an arrow, and it looked like it was actually doing damage.

You were impressed, so you went to smile at her, but you noticed the Oni closest to her was ready to put its sword right through her. Your smile fell and you quickly became angry, so you roared and ran towards it. You jumped on it, shoving it out of Allison's way so it just missed her.

It grabbed you and threw you against the concrete wall, where you hit your head and fell to the ground. You tried to stand up, but your balance was off and your vision was blurry. You were only able to stand up halfway while leaning on the wall. Allison shot an arrow at it since you couldn't defend yourself.

She hit it right in the chest, but you couldn't really see anything except the light coming from the wound. Right before it vanished, along with the other Oni and the nogitsune, you felt its sword go halfway through you. You didn't even yell out in pain, you just fell to the ground.

You heard Lydia scream your name from the camp's tunnels as you fell, indicating that you were on your death bed. You knew you had a bad feeling about tonight.

Allison yelled out, panicked, "(Y/n)!"

She ran to your side and grabbed your hand as tears quickly formed in her eyes, "You saved my life and you got hurt, this is all my fault."

You shook your head, "No, friends are supposed to look out for each other," you winced in pain, "no matter the cost."

Isaac, Scott, and Kira all ran over, and Isaac fell to the ground, pulling you onto his lap.

Isaac looked at you frantically and then looked up to Scott, "Call an ambulance!"

Scott just nodded, fighting back tears of his own, and immediately made the call.

You looked up at Isaac and smiled weakly, "I- I tried- I tried to be careful."

He had tears in his eyes, "(Y/n) please, just hold on, okay? You're going to be okay."

He grabbed your other hand, which was on top of your wound, and attempted to take away pain. He was able to take away some before you stopped him.

"Isaac, don't, you'll- you'll hurt yourself."
