You and your parents had just moved to Beacon Hills because the rest of your family lived there, and your parents wanted to be near them. You thought it was a little extreme, considering you originally only lived about an hour away. The only thing you didn't mind about this move was being able to see your Uncle Bobby more often, he was the coach of the lacrosse team, and a little too crazy for his own good. But, you enjoyed spending time with him, he was more like a friend than an uncle.

Now, you were laying in bed, staring at the ceiling, as you heard birds chirping outside your window. You decided to look over at your clock, and it read 6:10 AM. You groaned and figured that you might as well get up to start getting ready for your first day at your new school.

You brushed your teeth, jumped in the shower quick, got dressed in your favorite outfit, did your preferred amount of makeup, and did your hair in your preferred style. Once you were done, you went downstairs and was greeted by your mom who was eating breakfast.

"Good morning, (y/n). Are you ready for your first day at your new school?", she asked excitedly.

You sat down and poured yourself a bowl of cereal, "As ready as I'll ever be."

"Don't worry, you'll make a bunch of new friends, and plus, you'll have your Uncle Bobby there all the time."

You laughed a little, "As long as he doesn't embarrass me, that's fine."

She laughed too, "Don't worry, I know how he is so I told him that already."

You finished your cereal and put everything away, "Thanks mom, hopefully he'll listen."

"We can only hope," she looked at the time, "now you better go so you have time to get your schedule and find your classes."

You grabbed your bag and car keys, and gave your mom a hug, "See you later mom, love you!"

"Love you too!"

You went outside, got in your car, and drove to school.

Once you got there and got your schedule, you tried to find your uncle's office. You were having a hard time so you went up to two boys who were talking at their lockers, "Um, excuse me, hi. I'm (y/n), I'm new here. Do you think you could help me?"

They stopped talking and looked at you. The one with a little darker skin tone and dark brown hair smiled and spoke, "Yeah, sure, I'm Scott."

The other one with paler skin and moles dotting his face smiled and half waved, "And I'm Stiles."

You returned their smiles, "Nice to meet you both, and thank you. Can you help me find Coach Finstock's office?"

Scott spoke, "Yeah, go straight down this hallway, make a left, go down the stairs to your right, and it'll be the first door to your right. We can bring you there, if you want?"

Your cheeks turned a little pink, you didn't expect them to be so nice and welcoming, "Um, yeah, I'd appreciate that."

Stiles walked in front of you, "Follow us."

You laughed a little and followed Stiles, Scott walked next to you and made some small talk. You actually got to know a little about each other during the short walk.

Stiles noticed how you and Scott had immediately clicked. He smiled, "Sorry to break up your conversation, but here's his office."

Your cheeks turned even more red, and Scott's seemed to turn a shade of pink too. You smiled, "Thank you guys, I really appreciate it. You didn't need to walk me all the way over here and—"

Scott cut you off, "It's okay, I wanted—," he cleared his throat, "we wanted to."

You were going to say something else when your Uncle's door swung open, "Who's talking right outside my—," he saw you standing between the two boys, "(y/n)! How're you doing, kid?"

You laughed, "I'm good, how—"

He cut you off again, "Wait! McCall? Stilinski? What the hell are you two doing with my niece?"

You pinched the bridge of your nose and looked down, you knew there was no way you were going through your first day embarrassment free.

Stiles looked between you and your uncle, "Niece? She's your niece?"

"Yeah, she is. And I don't need her hanging around two—"

Now you cut him off, "Uncle Bobby! It's okay, they helped me find your office. They're pretty nice, you know?"

Stiles crossed his arms and looked at him matter-of-factly while Scott held in a laugh. He looked back and forth between the boys, "Alright, you want to hang out with her? Fine. But if you so much as look at her the wrong way I will make your lives a living hell, understand?"

You rolled your eyes, "They got it, Uncle Bobby, thanks," you started pushing the boys away, "I'll see you in Econ, promise me you won't embarrass me anymore."

He laughed as he walked back into his office, "Hey, no promises."

The three of you were walking away and towards your first classes. You sighed, "I'm sorry about him, but I'm sure you've dealt with him quite a lot."

Scott looked at you, "Hey, it's okay. He's always like that with us."

Stiles laughed, "Yeah it kinda comes with being on the lacrosse team."

You were a bit relieved, but still embarrassed, "I'm still sorry though."

Scott put his hand on your shoulder, "Don't be."

You smiled just as the first bell rang, making you internally groan. You didn't want to stop talking to them just yet, especially Scott, you already liked him, "Well I better get going, my class is a few rooms away. Thank you guys again, I'll see you around?"

Scott spoke, "Yeah, I'm sure we'll have a few classes together, and I'll save you a seat at lunch."

Stiles spoke next, "How about you come to lacrosse practice too? You'll get to see us and your uncle."

You laughed, "I think I will, but I think I'll stick around you guys."

Stiles grinned, "Scott will like that, won't you Scotty?"

You both blushed and Scott gave Stiles a death glare, "We'd both like that, (y/n)."

You smiled, "Sounds like a plan," you started walking away, "see you guys later!"

Stiles waved and then looked at Scott, who was still glaring at him, "What?!"

Scott shoved him and they started walking to their first class, "Really?"

"Oh come on, it's obvious that you like her, and it's obvious that she likes you too. If you're not going to instigate anything between you two, I will."

"Ok, so I like her, but she's coach's niece, isn't that going to be hard to work around?"

"No, just don't piss him off."

He scoffed, "I'll try, you and I are pretty good at that."

Stiles laughed, "True, but you can't just pass her up. She's too hot."

Scott shoved him again, gaining a response from Stiles, "And nice! I wasn't done!"

Scott rolled his eyes as he and Stiles walked into their classroom.

You saw the two of them throughout the day, during classes and at lunch. They introduced you to the rest of their friends, Lydia, Malia, Kira, and Liam. They took to you right away and you instantly had an amazing group of friends.

You went to their lacrosse practice and sat on the bleachers with the girls. You watched Scott, Stiles, and Liam, but mostly Scott. He kept looking at you during practice, and was even showing off a bit.

Your uncle blew his whistle, "McCall! What the hell do you keep looking at?"

Scott glanced at you and shrugged, "Nothing!"

You laughed, your uncle would just be an obstacle the two of you would easily overcome.
