I'm pacing my room. One of the servants just came to give me the news that we're expecting Cal and one guest for dinner Friday night. Not only that, but they'll be staying here Friday night and all of Saturday. I have one day to prepare myself to talk to Cal. I don't know what Maven wants me to say to him. I think he expects us to just agree to not love each other anymore. That's insane. I know that I'll always love Cal, no matter if I'm married to Maven or if he's with someone else. I'll always love him. The thing that scares me is that he's bringing a guest. Who would Cal bring with him to have dinner with his true love and worst enemy? I can't think of a single person. I always knew that Cal was unpredictable but this blows my mind. And even if I won't really acknowledge it, in the back of my mind, I'm truly terrified that it could be his new love.
