Let me not show you the dangers of time

What wrinkles prove mercilessness of age

For immortality was made a crime

And earth was made to hold the sad act's stage

Let me not show you the dangers of Death

For He has come to personify verse

He feeds on every dying man's last breath

His life was plagued with a dark and bright curse

But let me show you the wonders of time

For some can accomplish three lives in one

Miraculous seems the ability

The trick is to capture the essence of prime

Or you'll end up living the life of none

Maddening seems this reality
