Down by the river I sat down and wept

The rain had taken over me, I slept

To enter a world where rivers were rum

I'd drink as I salute what I've become

Down by the river I sat down and wrote

Splashing the wild waves on a broken boat

A mermaid drowning in own miseries

The water does not help the pain to cease

Down by the river I sat down to think

My life should be kept together in ink

It's the moment I stood and realized

I spent all my breaths by the riverside

Save me, look at what I've done to myself

Save me, look at what I've done to my life
