I talk a good talk that's out of my reach

But time has come to practice what I preach

My confidence mirrors the fears in me

My fragility completes me, now I see

I found the bravery to sink down low

I've faced the thunder, the rain and the snow

I've hit bottom rock then plunged way up high

My eyes learned to appreciate the sky

I was an underdog for all my life

Always one step ahead or three behind

I've cried daggers and screamed scissor and knife

But every misery's a step to climb

Glamor is not my middle name – who cares?

To take a walk in my shoe no one dares
