"Night is the death of day, my fair lady."

"But the sun soon revives the day', said she

"What lingers in your eyes to see such hope?"

"The brewing stew of the future", said she

"How can you not see the brightness of dark?"

"The heaven's failed to share your sight", said he

"If you believe then you can surely see."

"I believe what I see in you", said he

But night made way and death it had become

A man of faith was soon to become numb

The sun had failed to revive his fair girl

So now he's doomed to live in a dark world

The light in his eyes dimmed the day she fell

He clipped heaven's wings to embrace his hell
