This helplessness I feel without you kills

Whatever sanity is left in me

My nights are sleepless if I take no pills

To soothe away the cruel anxiety

I've waited forever; I'll wait some more

You need to spread your wings and reach the sky

And from my window I will watch you soar

And proudly say, "Look up there, that's my guy!"

The ends justify the means; that I know

Whatever it takes consider it done

My beating heart will always let love flow

For time has proved that you're the only one

The world will stage a fight, but victory

Is ours to keep for love is liberty
