Change is bitter-sweet, you can't hide from him

He knows you need him more than he needs you

You can try to repel him but his grim

Determination will find a way through

He can come in any form, shape and size

He molds himself into the thing you need

He brings out the gold flicker in your eyes

And makes you think that in this path you lead

But he's wise enough not to make you see

The pace at which he pulls you to his world

And when you realize you need to flee

You see the changes around you unfurled

Everything's the same but deep down you know

That life's a game and you've put on a show
