Let me now show you the horrors of my mind

It can't be put to words so easily

No muse would be pleased with the thoughts inside

She knows not to dance on such melody

The light and dark have become intertwined

The greyish evil lurks upon my soul

My sun-kissed skin has burned out all the light

I hide behind the shadows of a wall

A cold breeze hits me square in my weak chest

I cough the blood that tainted all my veins

No matter what I do, I'm second best

The victor holds me down with his gold reigns

The mud has become my new company

The dirt has covered all the sparks in me
