Chapter 4 - Another World

Lord Dream and I are walking around in the courtyard and I am suddenly falling forwards. Lord Dream is reaching for me and he falls with me. We are falling somewhere and I am terrified as he lands, his wings wrapping around me. "I have you, I have you." He says holding me. "What is Fallacy up to?" Lord Dream mutters. I look down at myself and let out a startled yelp, seeing how small I am. "Lord Encre... I shall protect you with my life." Lord Dream says. "Why am I so small? What's happening?" I ask holding onto Lord Dream tightly. "You have gone to your vampire state, not your mortal born one. So you can act as a child all you wish." Lord Dream says. "Lord Dream... I am frightened." I say shaking in terror. Lord Dream opens his wings and there is shouting. I am holding onto Lord Dream tightly. "I shall hide you from these people, I promise to protect you with my life." Lord Dream says wrapping me in his cloak and setting me down. "Stay here, my lord. I beg you to remain hidden under the cloak." Lord Dream says with a stern tone. I nod and he wraps me in his cloak. 

There is shouting and loud bangs then it falls silent suddenly. I sit up and I follow Lord Dream's footprints in the snow. I then see blood and dust. I start running with the cloak still wrapped around me. I see Lord Dream and tears start to leak from my eyes. "My lord... Forgive me... I failed you." Lord Dream says smiling softly towards me. "NO!!!" I scream and run even faster towards him. My magic activates and I am holding him in my arms as he is dusting. "No... You promised... You promised me..." I sob my magic glowing brightly in my eyes. I see people staring at me. "You... You mortals did this to him!!! YOU KILLED MY ONLY FRIEND!!!" I scream as Lord Dream dusts in my small arms. I then lash out bad and blood is everywhere as well as dust. I scream in sorrow and anger. I see two skeletons coming towards me as well as multiple others. I go over to Lord Dream's dust. I scream out in sorrow and pure hatred for the people of this idiotic world. "DREAM!!!" I scream tears pouring from my eyes. "I will avenge you... I shall kill them all." I say angrily. I look up to see them staring at me. Their eyes wide "It is only a child, Sans." I hear. "I hate everyone and everything!!! WHY DOES EVERYONE I CARE ABOUT HAVE TO LEAVE OR BETRAY ME!!!!!!!" I shout angrily and I lash out. I am surrounded but I lash out and attack randomly. Suddenly my magic disappears and I drop to my knees beside Lord Dream's dust. I cry softly, hearing "What should we do, Sans?" I hear. Lord Dream's soul appears and he reforms in front of me. "Well done, my lord. My soul will return to our universe and once it resets I will come for you, my lord." Lord Dream says and then disappears. I feel tears streaming down my face as I mutter "Please... I do not want to be alone any longer. I am afraid..." I see my soul in front of me and my soul is shattering. I start to sob realizing I am not alone, but at the feet of the enemy. They are all staring at me. "Pet... Pick him up and carry him." I hear. I extend my teeth and get ready to attack. They reach for me and I inject paralyzation venom into them. I then stagger backward as blood is leaking from my fangs. "You little brat!!!" I hear and someone reaches towards me. I bite their hand hard and drink for a few moments then inject paralyzation venom into them. They fall backwards before going limp. I am left with a smaller skeleton in front of me. My shirt is torn and shredded so I rip it off. I reactivate my magic and just prepare to fight. "Are you alright?" I hear suddenly. It is the smaller skeleton saying that. "SHUT YOUR TRAP!!! I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR ANY LIES YOU MAY TELL ME!!!" I shout angrily and I attack then something unexpected happens. Arms are wrapped around me protectively and they are rubbing my skull gently. "It is alright... You are not going to be harmed as long as you are in these arms." I hear. "Sans? What are you doing?" I hear. I feel my teeth retract and my magic fade away. I wrap my hands around the material of their shirt or whatever. "You calmed them down." I hear. I feel myself falling asleep but I shake my head and push them away. "No... You are going to hurt me... I cannot trust mortals... Mortals are monsters... They hurt and destroy for no reason... They are idiots..." I say moving away from them. "I promise we will not hurt you." The small skeleton says. "No... LIAR!!! LIAR!!! YOU KILLED LORD DREAM!!! HE WAS ONLY PROTECTING ME SO I WOULD NOT BE HURT BUT YOU KILLED HIM!!!" I shout getting angry again. "Sans do something!" I hear. "LIKE WHAT??? THE KID HAS TRUST ISSUES!!!" I hear the small skeleton shout. I cover my ears due to it being painful. "Grab the kid now!" I hear. "Touch the kid and I'll break your fucking arm!" I hear. 'I can understand them, but then I cannot... Maybe they are using some type of code?' I think. 'Encre is that you?' I hear. 'Yes, it is me!!! It is me!!!' I shout into my mind. 'I know where you are, do not move.' I hear. 'But... There are people... They killed Lord Dream and they are talking funny... Please... I am scared...' I say grabbing myself. Suddenly there is a light shining from behind me. "Oh, who is this now?" I hear the smaller skeleton say. A big lizard goes to grab me but I push the hand away and fall over. My leg hits something and it burns. I roll over and am on my back. I then see Fallacy. "Lord Fallacy..." I hear the taller skeleton say and watch him kneel. "Encre... Are you alright? How badly injured are you?" Fallacy says coming over to me. He picks me up and holds me to his chest. "It is alright now. Where is Lord Dream, Encre?" Fallacy says. "They killed him... He turned to dust in my arms." I say grabbing onto him tightly. He just holds me close, and says "That was the light coming from the courtyard." He then turns and says "Papyrus you have some explaining to do, on why you attacked my fellow comrade and my mate."  "Who the fuck is that, you slut?" I hear the small skeleton say. "Papyrus, I will be back later." Fallacy says as I fall limp in his arms as my leg and shoulder are bleeding out heavily. We go through that light and then there are gasps and choked noises. "Where is Lord Dream?" I hear and tears slip from my eyes. Fallacy then says "He died protecting Encre." "Why is Encre injured so badly, he looks like a child again." I hear. I open my eyes slowly and see Lord David and Lord Night there in front of us. "Lord Night please bring Encre to his room and have him drink blood so his silver wound could heal in the very least." Fallacy says. "Alright, I shall take care of the young lord." Lord Night says taking me from Fallacy's arms. "My lord... We will wait for your safe return." I hear Lord David say. "What are all these marking on the young lord? And there are so many scars." Lord Night says as he carries me up the stairs. Everything is burning it is all so painful, but I do not let it show, for I have been through much worse. "Lord Encre... Are you alright?" I hear. I reopen my eyes and my vision is blurred. "I cannot see... And everything hurts." I mutter tiredly. "Do not fret young lord. You will be alright." I hear Lord David say and then someone stroking my head. I turn my head to the side and hear a quick but cut off gasp. "What is wrong?" I ask worriedly. "You are just so injured young lord." I hear, unsure of who said it. "Am... I going to die... Like Lord Dream?" I ask hearing a door open. "No, of course not young lord, but lord Dream shall be with us again quite soon, do not fret." I hear. I reach a hand and grab onto someone. "Please... I beg you not to leave me... I am scared..." I mutter as I am being placed down. "Young lord..." I hear someone say softly. "I have always been so afraid of being alone... Please... Please do not leave me alone." I beg softly. I feel a hand on my head and I place a shaky hand on it. "I promise not to leave you for very long, but please while Lord Night is retreaving some blood, bite into me." I hear. I open my mouth and extend my fangs. There is a startled noise and I retract my fangs right away. "Did I injure you? I am so sorry... I-" I feel something press against my teeth making me silent. It is then removed and I hear "It is far more than alright young lord, now please bite into me."  I nod and extend my fangs before biting into something gently. I then pull it into me gently and hold it in my hands with tears in my eyes. I pull my fangs out and lick the blood before hearing "Bite and drink again." I nod slowly doing as told. I sink my fangs into the body part and drink for a few moments. "Your eyes are regaining colour, my lord." I hear. I remove my fangs and lick the blood. "Really?" I ask. "Yes, young lord, now I am going to help sit you up." I hear and I feel hands around my ribs. I am lifted up and grab onto them. "Now I want you to bite down on my hand again." I hear. I nod slowly following orders. I open my mouth slowly and I feel my teeth slip into previous holes I cannot drink anything so I reopen my mouth and move slightly, before sinking my fangs into the hand. The blood tastes really good to me so I close my eyes feeling myself falling asleep. "Young lord you must stay awake, you must never fall asleep, while drinking a comrade's blood." I hear. I release my grip and lick the blood from the hand so it is all gone. I open my eyes and pull away from the hand. My small hands still holding onto it tightly. I can see again. I look up to see Lord David. "Why?" I ask curiously. "Because when one relaxes like that your venom that mortal borns have, it leaks into the body, due to there being no control, and if you fall asleep they cannot wake you up and then they die due to it killing them eventually." Lord David answers me. I nod slowly. "Let me see your shoulder." He says gently. I nod slowly and then it hurts a lot. I try to push Lord David away since it hurts so much. I scream out in agony since it hurts that much. There is running and I feel arms go around me. "It is alright, you are alright. You are alright I promise." I hear and someone is stroking my skull gently. The pain is going away and I relax letting my body fall limp in their arms. "Young lord... Forgive me... I must have transfered silver to your other wound." I hear. "Young lord?" I hear. "Wait, that old geaser was talking about this kid... This kid is a lord?" I hear from above me. I open my eyes and then shove them off of me and off the bed. I cover myself embarrassed. Lord David and Lord Night give me more blood and I almost heal completely, then I am wrapped in bandages. "My love... Are you alright?" I hear. I look up to see Fallacy. I nod slowly. "It seems you reverted to vampire state, from your mortal born state. The villagers will still love you no less." Fallacy says kissing my forehead gently while smiling gently. He holds my hand gently. "Why the fuck is your mate a kid?" I hear. My face burns up and is covered in a blush. "He is turning forty in two days. It is not his fault your world made him go into the vampire state." Fallacy says his tone making me flinch. "Why is he here?" I ask. "He is going to bond with you over the next few days." Fallacy says. "I hope you like dying." I mutter looking the small skeleton in the eyes. "You want to play fucking games brat then here we go." He says. 

"I shall tear out your throat." I growl. Fallacy is blushing hard and so are the other lords. I then feel ashamed of myself and fall silent. "What kid, you gonna back down?" I hear the smaller skeleton say. I then say "I apologize for my actions with dealing with the mortal and mortals of the other realm or world, I should have acted my age instead of falling into my emotions like that. For my wrong doings I truly do apologize." Fallacy frowns slightly before standing beside the bed and says "What you did was extremely dangerous, but it was understandable, Encre. I as the king of vampires accept your apology." "We all do." I hear and then see Lord Dream at the door. "Young lord, are you alright?" Lord Dream asks me while coming towards me. I feel tears in my eyes and I wrap my arms around his neck. "I was so scared... I lost control over my magic and emotions... I was so, so scared." Lord Dream says holding me closely. "Hey... That is the way I held him before and he relaxed." I hear. "Only Lord Dream and I hold him like that. Lord Dream watched over him as he grew up to make sure he was not killed. And I am his mate, we are the closest to him so it is not surprising." I hear Fallacy say as Lord Dream is picking me up. "Lord Encre... You better colour and draw with me tomorrow." Lord Dream says. I blush slightly then nod. "Encre remember you are to be with Sans here this whole week, that includes all the time, all hours of the day." I hear Fallacy say. "WHAT!!!" I shout letting go of Lord Dream. "You do not mean..." Lord Dream says worriedly. 'Why must you torture me like this?' I ask Fallacy in my mind. He just smiles at me and thinks 'It was an agreement with his brother while he cleans up the mess in his universe. Forgive me for doing this to you.' I feel angry but I do not let it show. "I know you are angry, Encre. But forgiving him is probably your best choi-" I cut Fallacy off thinking 'I hate forgiving people who do not deserve to be forgiven... I do not want to do it anymore!' I have tears in my eyes and I am shaking. "Encre..." Fallacy says and sits beside me. The others but the small skeleton named Sans and Lord Dream leave us. "Encre... I am sorry for what you went through, I am sorry I could not had been there all those years, protecting you as you protected me that one faithful day." Fallacy says grabbing my hand. "My lord... Please do not do that to the young lord... It will cause him to... Panic." Lord Dream says. "What do you know about my mate? He is mine..." Fallacy says angrily.
