Uruk Capital Hospital

The same night
Mo Yeon couldn't sleep that night, for her brain was totally preoccupied with the thoughts of what Si Jin had revealed to her. As she reminisced those moments from start to finish, she realised how bad the memory was to him, and how much it affected him to this day. For such a terrible memory that was obviously very hard to let go, it took a lot of courage for Si Jin to tell her everything vividly.

That feat amazed Mo Yeon, but it also made her feel sympathetic over her lover. Little did she know that he had been through so much for the past five years. Despite all the witty smile of his, the comical jokes he frequently played on her, and all those sweet words coming out of his sweet mouth, Mo Yeon never knew that Si Jin had suffered way too much. All these times she had been with him, he never showed a hint of that amount of despair he had just shown. It was so much that it easily eclipsed the emotions he showed after killing Argus. Suddenly, Mo Yeon felt as if she was starting to know Si Jin all over again.

Mo Yeon never got out of bed after Si Jin had left her to rest, and she stayed that way. There was so much to absorb, including the cruel yet true fact that Si Jin had indeed caused the death of Sun Yang's wife by accident. It wasn't hard for Mo Yeon to relate how terrified, shocked, and saddened Sun Yang must have been upon seeing his own family dying in front of his eyes, because that's what she felt when she received the news about Si Jin's 'death'. The only difference was that those emotions were amplified much more that even Mo Yeon herself couldn't imagine just how great the feeling of losing someone he loved was. She somewhat could feel the moment, as if she was in his shoes, and witnessed all the death and carnage like she was really there.

Perhaps what was more horrifying, was the fact that she could imagine how Sun Yang's wife's death looked like, and how the pain felt when she received the bullet from Si Jin's gun that was not supposed to be meant for her. That was enough to make Mo Yeon hide under her pillow, but unfortunately, the things she imagined had manifested itself in her head that it continued to play on and on like a video on repeat mode. No matter how hard ahe tried to forget that part, she simply was too weak to do just that. She was so powerless to do anything else except to let it play and haunt her mind like a horror movie. It made her sob and in a long run, drained most if her energy.

Mo Yeon litearally ignored the concerns of her colleagues and even Aleya as she suffered under her own abyss of despair. The conditions she experienced was not like something ordinary people could apprehend.

That night, Mo Yeon decided to look for him, although she wasn't sure whether this was the right moment. A part of her heart was deeply worried about him, while the other part told her to refrain, for she feared that if she did confront him, her emotions could get a better of her and hurt both sides even more. However, before she could even consider at least of her choices in her heart, subconsciously, she was already up and out of her room, her legs guiding her wandering soul to search for the Major.
