*Shawn's POV*

As I was flying back home from weeks of touring, I got the perfect idea for a fun prank to play on Y/n.

My hair was getting pretty long by now and I knew that she would be looking forward to seeing it long after a while of being away from me. So, my plan was to make it look like I had shaved my head using this one cap that I found on my way home. It would be completely believable and would for sure get her back for the last prank that she played on me.

Playing jokes on each other had become almost a tradition after all the time Y/n and I had been together. It was just the kind of relationship we had.

"Do I look good?" I asked Andrew when we arrived outside my house and parked the car in the driveway.

"You look crazy good. It's really realistic," he said, getting out his phone, "Here let me take a picture so we can prank your fans too."

I chuckled getting out of the car, "No don't, they'll hate me!"

"Okay, if you say so. Good luck, I know she'll buy it," Andrew waved to me as he backed the car out of the driveway, leaving down the street.

After quickly looking at myself in the camera of my phone, I texted Y/n telling her that I was right outside. It only took a couple of seconds for the door to open. It was very obvious how her face changed from excitement to complete shock. Her jaw was literally dropping.

"Oh my gosh, Shawn, what did you do to your hair?!" Y/n shouted as I tried hard not to give anything away.

Walking inside and closing the door, I smiled, "I thought I'd shave my head before I came home. It looks good doesn't it?"

"You did what?" she yelled, still shocked, "Why would you cut off your perfect hair? It was just growing longer with your curls and . . . Why?"

I knew she was actually believing it when she stared at me, eyes wide, waiting for my response. "I don't know, I thought it would be a good idea," I told, "I'm sure my fans will love it."

"What? No, they won't. If I was still just a fan, I would be acting the same way that I am right now," Y/n said, pacing back and forth a couple of times. Everything was going perfectly and I had to bite my tongue to not laugh out loud and ruin it.

Y/n walked over to me and looked back and forth between my face and the top of my head, seems to be taking it all in. "I mean, you still look amazing as always, but I miss your soft, fluffy hair," she reached up to feel my head, "I won't get to touch---Wait, hold on, what's this?"

I knew that she finally figured it out, but I didn't try to hide it. The prank had gone on long enough. I started to crack up as Y/n pulled the cap off and discovered that I actually did still have my hair.

"You were faking it the whole time?" she asked, speechless.

I nodded, answering in between laughs, "I got you so good! I would never actually shave my head."

"I can not believe I fell for that!" Y/n held a hand to her chest grinning, "I am so glad that it's not real though."

Smiling hugely, I looked up as she ruffled my curls and then pulled her into a tight hug. She rested her head against my chest. "It is so great to be with you again in person."

"I missed you too," Y/n said, "But I'm still going to get you back for today."

I pulled away beaming. "I'm sorry, but it was pretty hilarious," I laughed, "I didn't even think it would work."

"It definitely worked," she confessed, "But it's okay. Now, let's go cuddle so I can play with your hair that I thought I lost."

"I can't argue with that," I admitted and grabbed her hand, leading us into the living room. It was a great day.

Imagine # 2!!! Thank you soooo much for reading my imagines. There is literally only like 4 reads on this book and it is still way more than I thought I would get from only a day of this book being up, so thank you!!! I can't tell if this is good imagine idea or if it's just weird, but yeah.

By the way, the There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back music video comes out tonight!!!! (Midnight eastern time) I know I am going to watch it millions of times tonight and tomorrow.
