*Kriti's POV*

I was sitting down as I read through the script for the movie I was acting in. It was a love story and I had gotten the part as the girl main character. I had most of the lines already memorized since this wasn't my first time working as an actress.

I had almost read through the whole thing when Shawn walked up to me. "Hey Kriti," he grinned, "Guess who is playing your love interest in the movie." He pointed to his chest, "I am!"

"Really? That's great!" I smiled. Shawn and I were pretty close friends since I had been in a few of his music videos. I was only a little bit younger than him and I had known him since he was seventeen.

"I wonder how you and I both got the parts for the main characters," Shawn spoke, "My first time acting in a movie and I get to do it with you."

"I know. That is kinda weird," I added, "Have you learned your lines yet?"

"Yeah, I actually have," he told.

"Good," I said, looking down at the part of the script where it said we had to kiss. I blushed slightly.

Soon it was time to start filming the first scenes. At first it was mostly both of us separate for what would be the beginning of the movie. We had to take multiple takes sometimes for different reasons, one of them being that Shawn kept fumbling his words. It was kind of funny watching him act for pretty much the first time.

After getting all of those parts mostly perfect, it was time to do the scene where the characters Shawn and I played would meet. We were supposed to lock eyes as we walked past each other in the shop. "And...action!" the director called.

I started walking, acting how I needed to, but the second my eyes met Shawn's I couldn't help but laugh. Shawn cracked up too only a second after me. They soon called cut and stopped the cameras.

"I'm sorry," I said, still laughing a little, "We're friends so this might take a while." None of the crew seemed to be mad which was good.

We quickly got in our places again and started up. But, this time when I looked to Shawn, he made a face at me and I burst out laughing once again.

"Cut!"

"That wasn't my fault," I insisted, "He was trying to make me laugh."

"Are you blaming this all on me?" Shawn joked.

I chuckled, "We have cameras that were filming to prove it, Shawn."

"Okay, okay," he gave in, "I'm done now. I promise." And he wasn't lying. We finally got the scene done and easily did a few more where we were just talking really.

I looked down at the script and bit my lip. It was now time for the scene where we had to kiss and I was starting to get nervous. It only had to be a short kiss, but I knew it would probably end up being awkward. You don't just kiss someone who your friends with everyday. Or really at all.

"Okay, you don't have to make it too long of a kiss and try to make it look as natural as you can," the director instructed. I nodded and took a deep breath before preparing to start acting. Shawn seemed a little uncertain about what we were going to do too, but any trace of the feeling was gone from his face once the cameras started rolling.

I say the lines I need to before slowly walking forwards and leaning in. I closed my eyes as our lips connected. But it didn't feel awkward like I had expected it to be. It felt good and I didn't want to pull away. Shawn must have been thinking the same thing because his hands moved to my back, pulling me closer to him. His lips were so soft on mine and the kiss felt so real, like it wasn't just for the movie. Like there were real feelings behind it. I tried to kiss back in the same way.

We didn't separate until we heard the people behind us clapping. I blushed hard and laughed a little even though I was almost breathless from the kiss.

"I mean, it only had to be a small kiss, but that'll do," the director said, "Good job guys. Let's break for lunch." All of the crew and other actors slowly left where we were for lunch break.

I turned back to Shawn. His eyes were still wide and he still looked shocked.

He then spoke up, "Kriti, I know this is really sudden and I hope I'm right, but will you be my girlfriend?"

I was right. He did have real feelings for me. And I knew I did too. I grinned, "Yes, of course!"

He smiled and brought me into a hug before kissing me again. And it was even better with no one watching.
