The slim figure of a girl wearing an apron stood on top of a grassy hill. She had just finished picking the herbs and fruits she planned on using for dinner and was planning to head back to her cottage when she caught sight of the sunset. Holding the basket absentmindedly on one arm, she paused momentarily, gazing at the warm colors of the sun.
It had been 10 years since she died and reincarnated as a 6 year old in this world, making her 16 years of age. After many efforts to return to her old world, she resigned herself to her fate and thought of how to spend her time here. Never much of a people's person, she decided to stay in the forest and occupied herself with learning about the different plants there. To her relief, she found that the world was not as different from her old one and quickly remastered the arts of cooking and healing.
Although she did enjoy her quiet life of solitude, she intuitively knew that her peaceful life would not last forever because there was bound to be a reason she had been reincarnated.
