Jamie's P.O.V.
"WHAT THE HELL? I'VE BEEN CALLING YOU NON-STOP AND YOU THINK IT IS RIGHT TO IGNORE ME?"
"Dad! Calm down or I won't reply."
He immediately sighs and starts again.
"Jamie, can you please tell me where you are? I really need to know where this foreigner took you."
I am left utterly confused by his words. I could hear a trace of bitterness in them but he recovered quickly. Why is he calling her a foreigner when he knows her... does he? And how?
"Dad, I'm at their house. We're leaving in two minutes to go to the hospital."
My phone vibrates and I see that my 'Find my iPhone' is now working. Wait... wth?
"Dad, what are you doing?"
"I'm driving. What else?"
"Why are you tracking me?" I don't keep the bitterness away from my voice, and unlike him I don't recover.
His hesitation is all I need to know that he is in fact tracking me to figure out the location of this "foreigner"s house.
Humph. Some foreigner.
