I Would Say Goodbye

Jamie's P.O.V.

"ANGELINA AS IN ANGELINA GRANTH???" I scream.

They nod.

"YOU DROPPED A BOMBSHELL ON ME AND ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELVES IS NODDING??"

Unbelievable!

But none of this makes sense.

You know what I don't care!

"Does she know??"

As if on cue the topic of conversation herself, walks in.

"Yes." She says.

"YOU KNEW?"

"Yes. I even told you. When I met you I had said "Hi, I'm Angelina Granth. Nice to meet you. Finally."

I actually remember that. But not the 'finally.'

"Hi, I'm Angelina Granth. Nice to meet you." She mumbles something but it's inaudible. I don't know what she said, I doubt Mrs. Granth heard as well. But nonetheless, Mrs. Granth beams at her daughter but her daughter seems to only be looking at me.

"I can't do this right now. I would say goodbye but good is positive and the only thing I feel right now for you all is negative!"

And with that I left. You could say stormed out but I think that's a little dramatic.

I walked out and realized I need to leave and go home. No not home. I don't want to go home.

I look and see who's waiting outside. I see two people: Mrs. Granth and Raven.

I weigh my options.

Even though Mrs. Granth has been sweet and everything to me, I can't bear to look at her right now.

"Raven c-can you take me-me home?" I say stuttering because I realize I'm still sobbing. Who knew a human could cry so much? I didn't think it was physically possible!

"Um.." He starts.

"Can you please?"

"Yeah sure." He has an emotion on his face that's hard to understand. But I follow his black converse outside.

He says, "Ummm.." And points to his shiny, black motorcycle.

I am so scared of these things. They're basically death traps. What if the weights uneven and we both fall off and a car just runs us over? How are these things even allowed??

"Oh."

"Yeah."

I hear my dad's voice call my name and out of the stress of the moment I guess I agreed to this ride on a death trap.

He hands me his helmet, I'm guessing?

He tells me to sit and guides my hands around his waist.

Come on Jamie. You can't really be thinking about his abs- you just found out so much stuff about your family!

Well honestly whatever, I don't want to think about my family right now.

I tighten my grip and cry in the crevice of his shoulder.
