Matt: Here we go, ladies and gentlemen! Last rider of the day! We got 21-year-old Lauren Morgado entering the U. Once the clock hits 0, Lauren will have 105 seconds to show us what she's got.
I turned my bike around in the U to go back into the stadium and watched the starting clock's 15 second countdown. Breathe. Breathe. Breathe.
Akbar: Last year Lauren surprised us by taking the podium behind Travis and Jeremy. The only woman to do so in the history of the annual Santa Barbara Motorcycle Expo. And this year, we hear she's going for the win. Will we witness history tonight? Will Lauren be the first woman to win the $15,000 prize money?
Wish me luck, abuelo. I kissed the motorcycle necklace that my grandpa had given me as an amulet of protection when I'd first started riding. Then, with 5 seconds remaining on the clock, I sped toward the ramp in the stadium.
