Melhotra family had lost their sleep, once Radhika slept Prerna joined Neil and Nihal in the main hall; ''Is she fine'' Nihal asked, Prerna nodded and turned to Neil; ''How did Arjun know of her whereabouts ''

''He had gone there for Zubin's sister and saw them kidnapping her , he informed me and followed them'' Neil replied without any trace of doubt on Arjun's story . But Prerna wasn't convinced. She was about to put her doubt forward when a sound from Radhika's room made all the three jump. 

Radhika threw her hands and legs harshly on the bed, she made a stifling sound. She curled her body crying in pain. ''She is having the nightmare again'' Neil grabbed her arms; ''Birdie wake up , its me Neil''  After few minutes of struggle her eyes snapped open and she hugged him tight; ''He tore my clothes Neil'' She took deep breaths sobbing hard,  His grip tightened around her , Neil pecked the top of her head few times , trying to calm her ; ''You are safe, we are here'' He was simmering with anger . He blamed himself for failing her. he hated the way she shivered. Though she looked normal after the incident , but her subconscious was shaken up badly  and it started showing its effects now. Saral had succeeded in giving her back the fear she was escaping from; ''Birdie you need to calm down, we are here'' Neil gestured his mother and Prerna took Radhika in her embrace, he watched as she cowered into Prerna's arms ,  he walked out with his father in tow; ''I want to kill him'' Neil banged his fist on the wall

''For now concentrate on Radhika, we need her fine'' Nihal tried calming Neil, he took a deep breath; ''She is hurt'' 

''Yes she is and its because you allowed her to go alone'' Neil lowered his head hearing his mother '' from now I will see to her safety'' Nihal and Neil turned to Prerna; ''From now you two have no say on my methods. '' with that she walked off leaving the two men in silence.

Mehra Mansion

''You still didn't tell me about your wound'' Arjun asked wrapping bandage around Sam's arm. ''Saral! Well Neil thinks that, I am not sure. But don't worry I gave the man nicely''

Arjun patted her cheek; ''I hope she is fine'' Sam watched the lines of pain and worry on  her brother's face, she cupped his cheek; ''Bhai, she is fine. I spoke to Neil''

''No, that swine had instigated her fears again. Its a long battle for her'' Sam nodded ; ''Bhai I feel more that treatment Radhika needs faith on her own strength. Neil is protecting her but he making her handicapped by too much care, she needs to believe on herself'' Arjun thought about what Sam said , she was right. Radhika was too dependent on Neil, every time she faced trouble she would look upto Neil. He wanted her to believe on herself, thinking for a while he turned to Sam , his best friend; ''We can do that, if you help me''

''Have I ever said no to you Bhai'' Arjun pulled her cheeks; ''I know, you will there even if everybody else ditches me'' He smiled patting her head; ''Sam our family shouldn't know of your wound''

''Bhai how long will we hide our relationships, I just don't like lying to the family'' Arjun held Sam by her shoulders; ''Some more time, we need to break the ice between the families. I spoilt it , then I will mend it'' Sam smiled; ''And from tomorrow I will begin mission Radhika'' Arjun gave Sam a hug before leaving for his room. He too had plans but difference was he had dangerous plans of Sanjay, very big plans.

A week later, Melhotra house 

Radhika sat on the dinning table watching her bowl of soup, her face devoid of any expression. Nihal kept a hand on her head; ''Radhika '' with few hiccups she broke down; ''when will this end, I am tiered, I want to be the way I used to be but...'' Nihal pulled his chair closer; ''tell me how to end it. Tell me once and I will do it for you .'' Radhika stared at him, he meant every word ; ''tell me my child , your dad will full fill all your wishes'' She smiled throwing her arms around his neck;" I love you dad'' Nihal caressed her head. He looked at Neil who stood behind Radhika , Nihal nodded once and Neil smirked. he had been waiting was this day. Saral didn't even knew what was coming for him
