"Look at what the devil dragged back," he responded.

"I see you're still wearing that ugly blindfold, Ohm. How do you even see through that thing?"

"I have my ways," he chuckled. "What are you doing back here? I thought you died or something."

"It's not important. You texted me so what do you need?" I asked.

He handed me a sheet of paper with information about someone and a picture. I skimmed through it as Ohmwrecker gave me more info that wasn't included in the paper.

"They're willing to pay $5,000,000," Ohm said calmly.

"Are you serious?" I asked with widened eyes. Ohm nodded.

"He's in some notorious gang. I just couldn't figure out which one," he said while rubbing his chin.

"But why pay so much?" I asked. He only shrugged. "Okay, I'll figure it out. If you weren't able to find information on this guy, then this job is gonna be hard. I guess that explains why they would pay so much..."

"If I told you who the client was you'd really be up for a surprise. Unfortunately, I can't disclose that kind of information," Ohm said with a smirk.

"Right, I also need to ask you for a favor."

"What is it?" Ohm asked.

"I'm trying to stay under the radar but I'm pretty sure that soon some people will come asking for me. I need you to tell them you don't know shit, got it?"

"No one would believe that."

"I mean, you didn't know what happened to me after I disappeared for a while," I said smirking under my mask. "I'll pay you, double what they're paying."

"Deal," Ohm and I shook hands in agreement. "But do you realize how much you're worth?"

"I'm assuming a lot. Anyway, I'll be off, then," I said and walked out the place.

I walked out of the alley without bringing myself too much attention. I went straight back to the motel wondering how I was going to find this person. Ohm couldn't figure out what gang he belonged to so that means this was going to be difficult. Ohm was the type of person who can find any information no matter what.

I got to the motel and threw myself onto the bed. I looked at the paper looking through it once more. I sighed with slight frustration and threw the paper to the side.

I decided to go to sleep and try to get more information tomorrow. There were a few leads I could follow and I need to get somewhere.

I woke up early in the morning and got ready. I needed to find this person as soon as possible. I grabbed the paper and folded it so it could fit in my pocket. I took my mask off and covered my face with a black scarf instead. I pulled my hood over my head. Luckily, it was pretty cold outside so I wouldn't look as suspicious.

I strapped myself with knives wherever I could and headed out. The first place I hit up was the address of a warehouse. It was just on the outskirts of the city. The place looked abandoned and there were bullet holes everywhere.

I went to one side and climbed up the emergency exit. I looked inside one of the dirty windows. I didn't see anyone so I continued to go in. I stepped in quietly and looked around. There wasn't anything here. No crates, weapons, vehicles, or anything.

I searched everywhere in the warehouse and didn't find anything. This place was a bust... I looked at the paper again and there was a different address. I went there and it was a liquor store.

I walked in and the clerk looked at me. "How may I help you?"

"Have you seen this man?" I asked holding up the picture of my target.

"I think I've only seen him once. He was very drunk, though. And his face was smeared with something."

"When?"

"A month ago, maybe."

"What did he buy?"

"Alcohol and cigarettes. He went that way when he left," he said pointing towards downtown.

"Did you say his face was smeared with something?" I asked.

"Yeah, I think he was coming from a party or something. He wasn't by himself. He was with a lot of other people. Most of them had masks in their hands."

"What kind of masks?" I asked with a little too much excitement.

"I don't remember. I think it was like animals or something."

"Alright, thanks," I said and walked out the store.

I headed back towards downtown. If they're a gang then they're reckless. The only gang I knew that had animal masks were the Vanoss crew but I knew they weren't reckless like that so it couldn't be them.

There was another address of a bank. I couldn't go there. Not by myself at least. I saw the last address and it caught me by surprise. The address was of my apartment.

"What the hell?" I thought aloud. I started running towards the alley where Ohmwrecker is located. It could be possible this person is targeting me, as well.

I ran down the alley not caring about anyone who looks my way. I busted in through the door and stopped dead in my tracks. What the hell was Delirious and Basically doing here so soon?!

"Ohm, we need to talk," I said changing my voice pitch so they wouldn't recognize me. I grabbed his wrist and dragged him to the back room.

"Were those the guys you were talking about?" Ohm whispered.

I nodded. "That's not what I came here for. This guy," I showed him the picture he gave me, "what's his occupation?"

"I don't know. He's in a gang. That's all I know." Ohm said. "I really need to get back out there. They're the most dangerous people in the city and I can't keep them waiting," Ohm walked back out to them and apologized to them.

"No, it's fine. We just need to know if you've seen this girl," I heard Basically say.

"Oh, yeah. She used to come here for jobs. She stopped coming about a month ago. I haven't heard from her since."

"You're lying," Delirious deadpanned.

"Look, I'll give you whatever information I have filed on her. It's pretty pricey since she's one of the most wanted people in the city but there's nothing on her from this month."

"Fine," Basically said.

"No," Delirious said. "Who was that just now?"

He couldn't possibly know it was me. There was no way...
