"Sidetracked?!" I shouted at him while hitting his chest. "What the fuck! Where is he?" I asked Delirious. I was angry.

How could he do that? He could've kissed me any other time but he did it now when my brother needed my help.

"I'm sorry," he said for the millionth time.

"Stop apologizing and take me to him, dumbass!" I shouted at him some more.

He grabbed my hand and ran back to his car. He drove back to the apartment they used as the base. I really didn't want to go back in there but Danny was there and he needed me.

Delirious parked the car in the garage and we took the elevator up. We quickly walked to the apartment and went in. Everyone turned to look at us.

I saw Danny sitting on the couch. He looked like he was in pain. I ran over to him and examined him from head to toe. He was sweating and had bruises and dried blood all over. He also had a black eye and a cut right below.

"What the hell happened to you?" I asked him.

"I got punished for not killing you," he said.

"What kind of punishment is this? They could've killed you!" I said in disbelief.

"No, they're professionals. They know exactly what they're doing," he explained.

"Well, I'm gonna fucking kill them," I said in a dangerous tone.

"No," Danny said grabbing my arm, "you wouldn't win."

I sighed at his words. He was probably right. The group he was a part of didn't even have a name. All they did was accept offers and kill people for money. They were basically a more professional and more expensive version of what Ohm and I did. The only difference is that they do a much better job.

"It's nice to have you back, Red," Vanoss said. I quickly grabbed a knife from my waist and threw it at him. He caught the handle and played around with it in his hand. "I see you're still mad..." he said with a small, awkward chuckle.

"Of course I'm still fucking mad," I said, glaring at him. "And don't call me 'Red'.

"Look, it's my fault. I'm the one who- "

I threw a knife at Mini which interrupted him. He moved his head to the side dodging my knife. Basically crouched down last second before the knife hit the wall.

"Hey!" Basically shouted with annoyance and looked back at the knife that was now stuck in the wall. "Mini, next time catch the knife like Vanoss did so people don't get hurt, will ya?!"

"(Y/n), are you okay?" Danny asked quietly.

"It doesn't matter," I replied. "You need to rest."

"I'll take him to one of the rooms," Wildcat volunteered.

"You will do nothing," I said firmly, pointing a dangerous finger at him. He raised his hands in defense.

I helped Danny stand and I walked him to the room where I used to sleep before I left. I helped him lie down and get comfortable in the bed.

"I don't think I've ever seen you so angry before," he chuckled. I didn't say anything.

"Are you cold?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"Don't do that."

"Do what?" I asked, confused.

"That. You change the subject and pretend you don't know what I'm talking about when you don't want to talk about something," he explained.

I sighed again. "The gang was being stupid so I made a decision to leave. The only reason I came back was that you were here."

"Oh, I had no idea... sorry."

"No, it doesn't matter. Just get some sleep. I'll see you in the morning," I said. I took my mask off for a brief moment to kiss him on the forehead.

"I'm not a kid anymore," he said.

"I know but I guess old habits die hard," I said with sadness clear in my voice.

"Yeah," Danny agreed. "When all this is over, can we try to go back to having normal lives?" He asked.

"Danny, I think we're both way past that," I said. "But it doesn't hurt to try."

He smiled and turned to his side to fall asleep. I walked towards the door and turned off the light. I closed the door behind me and headed back to the other guys.

I saw Moo trying to take out the knife, I threw, out of the wall. He turned his head and saw me. He was able to wiggle the knife free and he tossed it to me. I caught it and put it back in the holster of my waistband.

"I told the guys not to do it but they never listen," Moo said. "Since you don't want to be called 'Red' anymore, what do we call you?" I raised a quizzical eyebrow at him.

"I guess you can just call me by my name since you guys already seem to know it," I said with no emotion.

"To make things even, you can just call me Brock," he said. He gave me a wholehearted smile that I couldn't stay mad at. I nodded and looked over to where everyone else was seated.

Vanoss was still playing with my knife. Basically was just sitting there drinking a beer.  As was Wildcat but he had his feet on the coffee table. Mini was sitting there with his head leaned back, staring at the ceiling. Nogla had his arms crossed waiting for something to happen. Lui was next to him eating his usual bag of gummy worms. Terroriser was leaning forward staring at the ground. Delirious had one of his legs pulled up against his chest waiting patiently.

I was surprised by how silent they were. Usually, there was so much commotion around the place. It felt strange. The tension was thick in the air. Brock came from behind me and placed a hand on my shoulder. He cleared his throat and everyone gave him their attention which was quickly passed on to me.

For a moment, Delirious seemed to glare at Moo. I thought it was just a crazy figment of my imagination so I ignored it.

"Hey...!" Lui said breaking the silence. I knew he was about to call me Red but just stopped at 'hey'.

"(Y/n). Just call me (Y/n). There's no point in hiding my name now," I said. The guys looked guilty and ashamed.

It was clearly awkward and silent. You would be able to hear a pin needle drop. All I wanted was for this weird tension to go away.

"Well since no one's going to say anything, I will," Terroriser said. "(Y/n), we're really sorry. We didn't mean for any of this to happen. I'm the one who slipped up so I'll take the blame for everything."

"Whoa, slow down there Terroriser-" Nogla said.

"Brian," he interrupted Nogla.

"Brian, you need to lower your ego there," Nogla said.

"This has nothing to do with my ego," Brian stated.

"Actually, it was my fault. If I wasn't acting like a total dick then you wouldn't have slipped up," Delirious said. "Either way, we need to talk."
