I woke up in a bright white room. The only sound was the beeping of the heart monitor. My vision was blurry and the room was too bright for my liking. I tried to sit up but my arms felt very weak and I felt a sharp pain on my side. My eyes had adjusted and I looked at my wound that was now patched up. I observed my surroundings. I realized I was in a hospital room and I started panicking.

I started ripping the cables off my body and the heart monitor started making a flatlining noise. I got up and started making my way towards the door. I felt strong arms wrap around me from behind and without thinking or looking, I tried to free myself.

"Calm down! It's just me!" I heard a familiar voice say. Relief washed over me and I relaxed. Doctors and nurses came busting in making me tense up again. "No! It's all good," Jon said to the doctors, who were ready to tie me down to the bed.

Jonathan slowly unwrapped his strong yet gentle arms from around me. His hand moved to my lower back and guided me back towards the bed. I lied down and one of the nurses started reattaching everything back on.

"You seem to be okay," the nurse said. I only nodded. "You've been through a lot, huh?"

I looked up at the nurse. "What makes you say that?" I asked quietly.

"Well, for one, you've been shot," she said pointing at my wound, "and two, you have a lot of scars all over your body and a couple on your face."

"Yeah, I guess it's pretty obvious," I said nervously.

"Let's not bring up the past," Jon said noticing my uncomfortableness.

"Um, right, sorry," the nurse said awkwardly as her face tinted a bright pink when she saw Jon. "The doctor will be right with you," she said with a kind smile and left.

I rolled my eyes and sighed. I felt myself relax. I didn't know I was tense in the first place. I looked over to Jon who was just standing there. He looked at me with relief. He seemed to be trying to hold back something but I couldn't tell.

"I'm... glad you're okay," he said awkwardly. I couldn't help but giggle at how awkward he was. He usually kept his cool and acted like a badass. "What's so funny?" He said, now looking confused and irritated. I couldn't help but laugh harder at his reaction. "You better not be laughing at me..." he said all flustered.

"I'm... sorry," I said in between laughs. Jonathan crossed his arms in annoyance. A mischievous grin grew on his face that made me stop laughing. "Why are you making that face?" I asked nervously.

"Oh, no reason," he said, clearly lying. He came closer to me and drew his face closer to mine. His blue eyes looking into me. I felt myself blushing and it was hard to fight it down. His hand found its way to my outer thigh and slowly made its way up. "What are you do-"

Jon cut me off by placing his lips on mine. It was slightly rough yet compassionate. My hands found its way to his hair. He licked my lips asking for entrance but I refused. His hand went straight to my ass and he squeezed making me gasp. He took advantage and stuck his tongue in my mouth, dancing with my tongue. I pulled his hair hard enough for him to groan but not too hard where it was unbearable. His hand moved from my bum to the small of my back but was careful not to touch my wound. I could hear the heart monitor start beeping faster and a smile grew on Jonathan's face.

We were interrupted by a knock on the door and a doctor came in. Jon quickly stood up straight as if nothing happened even though his dark hair was messed up. The doctor froze for a second before continuing.

"...(Y/n), right?" the doctor said, looking at his clipboard.

"Yes."

"Your wound is healing quickly. It's already closed up but we're gonna keep you for one more night. You can leave first thing in the morning," he said with a smile.

"Thanks, doc," Jon said. The doctor nodded and left the room.

I looked at Jon. He started leaning in again to finish what we started until someone else came busting through the door. Jon groaned in annoyance and looked at who came in.

"What the hell do you want?" Jon said with annoyance.

Tyler came in and placed a hand on his chest and acted hurt. "What kind of a friend would I be without checking on (Y/n)?"

"Hi, Tyler," I said with a small wave.

"Holy shit! You're awake!" he exclaimed.

"Yeah... why wouldn't I be?"

"We thought you'd be out for a long time since you lost a lot of blood," Tyler explained.

"I guess I heal pretty fast," I said, shrugging.

"I'll get the rest of the guys," Tyler said and left the room.

That reminded me of Danny. "Jon, where's Danny? Is he okay?"

"He's fine. Definitely doing better than you," he said.

I sighed with relief. The guys came piling in the small room. There was clearly not enough space for everyone but somehow they made it work.

Everyone had smiles on their faces and seem to be having a good time.  I felt like I belonged. I felt like apart of their crazy family. I felt important and it was a feeling I wasn't used to. It was a good feeling and I felt great.
