Sams POV

"I-i don't know that's my answer to both" I said in a shaky voice "why did you let him leave!!" Elton almost yelled "I couldn't stop him" I said "we have to find him" he says worried, I nod

We leave the house we didn't tell anyone, we got in eltons car and I started to text Colby maybe he'd answer

S: Colby where are you
S:Colby please
S: you're scaring me
S:are you at least safe

I texted him he never answered I was so scared I can't lose him he's my best friend.

"Okay do you know anywhere he could've went?" Elton asked "I-I mean, maybe he went to the b-beach" I say "no he doesn't have enough time" he said frustrated but worried, I think why did he go when he was upset, he hasn't done this in so long. I gasp THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN "ELTON HE USED TO GO TO THE HOLLYWOOD SIGN HES PROBABLY THERE" I say yelling because I was happy but I hope he's there, he steps on the gas a little more going over the speed limit we were almost to the Hollywood sign and I was breathing heavy, I just need him to be there.

We park the car and run we run to the top I can run faster then elton but it's still hard to get up, after a while of climbing I'm almost there, I see a person but I can't see their face they were sitting down with their head in their knees, I'm pretty sure it's Colby, once I've reached the top I run up to him "Colby is that you" I say getting closer he turns his head facing me "sam..." he says pulling me in for a  huge hug, but soon I pull away, I see his face it covered in tears, he's really fighting cole "Colby we get through this okay?" I say, he nodded, I saw Elton "ELTON I FOUND HIM " I yell telling him to come over, once he's over to us he hugs Colby "are you alright " elton asked "I-i d-don't k-know" Colby stuttered out "we will make it alright" Elton said hugging him again "we should go home the others didn't even know we left they are probably  worried" I said standing up and elton agreed "help...". Colby said holding his arms out for me to pull him up "ugh Colby" I smile helping him up, as we are walking down I just think what if we never found him, what will happen if Cole gets out, what's happening right now I just snapped out of my thought realizing we are at the end, Colby gets in the backseat he's so quiet he's scared of himself right now, I've seen. Him like this before

We get home and and walk inside everyone runs to us asking if we were okay and why we just left and how they were worried but I didn't even notice Colby has already slipped away to his room, he can't be alone right now, I run up the stairs getting to his room opening the door he's sitting on his bed in the corner shaking "Colby oh my god" I say sitting next to him, he gets closer to me laying his head on my shoulder "it'll be alright" I say softly after a while I hear him softly snoring, I get up making sure to not disturb him and walk back down stairs "how is he?" Elton asked he as soon as I hit the last step "he's asleep, and he's.... he's not doing well." I say sadly " wh-what does that mean" he asked me "he won't get any better until he tells brennen how he feels" I say walking into the kitchen and sitting down "okay well, how do we get him to do that?" He asked taking a seat on the table "thats the problem, I'm not sure" I say sighing sadly, he sat there thinking "what if we told brennen, then see how Brennen feels and tell Colby or something" he says looking down at me "we could try that, but if we are going to we need to do it now, he's fighting cole so hard now and it's killing him, but not literally....yet" I say looking at my hands "ye- never mind do you think he's up?" He asked I check the time 11:32pm "yeah he's probably still up, but let's get going" I say standing up so does elton "WE WILL BE BACK SOON" I yelled to the rest of the house

Time skip to brennens

We knock at the door and wait but finally it opens "hey guys what are you doing here?" He asked confused "it's about colby" Elton said as we walked past brennen "what does that mean are you gonna tell me what's up with him?" He asked walking over to us sitting down on the other side of the couch " yes" I reply getting ready to speak " okay so Colby, he has this other personality named Cole I know this probably doesn't make sense just listen, Cole is this awful thing, he is angry all the time he will tell Colby awful things like nobody cares about him nobody loves him nobody wants him sometimes if he gets too strong he will even tell going to kill himself for hurt himself" I taking a deep breath "o-oh my god I never knew but why is this thing coming out now" he asked "well it happens when he's in love with someone but he feels like he can't tell them, or he's hiding something big and personal and both is happening right now, he's trying to keep cole away but he's getting stronger by the minute" I say in a worried tone "who does he love what is he hiding?!?!?!" Brennen asked worried "....brennen, he's in love with you, he's gay..." I tell him he gasped....
