[ one year later]

Colby's POV

So.. things didn't really work out the way Brennen and I had originally planned, we did break up.. though we kept our promise, we are still best friends just the way we were before...or well I mean.. we try to forget the fact that yaknow he's literally been inside me but that's not the point.

All of our friends still love to tease us about how we were together for literally a year and such which we'll probably never be able to escape from but oh well.

We didn't break up because we didn't love each other anymore though, we broke up because we just,,..we were opposites and it just wasn't really working out the way we had hoped, it is funny though, Brennen kept our old apartment and I moved back into my old house as Elton had moved out, not gonna lie, it is nice being back with all my friends, not that living with Brennen wasn't nice but-

Brennen and I still see each other all the time, it's only awkward sometimes.. mostly when someone mentions Brolby considering it actually happened for a while but Brolby will never die.

See now that I don't and kind of can't make gay jokes and shit with Brennen I just do it with Jake now, which some people thought was really weird but yaknow I cant just not make gay jokes that's not who I am.

I don't consider being with Brennen was a waste of time In fact I loved when we were still together, and I did truly love him.

I still do love him.

It just didn't work out, sometimes that's how life is.

Shit happens, you gotta get over it, and yeah it did suck for the first few weeks but eventually I got over it so did Brennen.

I'm just happy we stayed friends.
