Elizabeth's POV

It was him. The arrogant Greek god was standing right in front of me, from the restaurant.

I did the only thing that came to mind.

I quickly closed the door slamming it in his face.

"Arrg!" He yelled.

I pressed my back against the door taking deep breaths.

What was he doing here? Was he the one I was arranged to marry? He was probably at the wrong door.

"Hey, open the door!" He shouted. He soon started banging on the door.

By the amount of noise, he was making mom would soon come here yelling at me.

But what was he doing here, could I be dreaming. I pinched my arm a few times making sure I was awake. Maybe I would just wake up and realize this was all a bad dream.

"You at the wrong home!" I yelled back at him.

"Are you working as a maid here now?" he said.

I ignored his question. How rude of him! Did he just assume everyone was below him?

I stood still for a minute staring at the door thinking if I should open it or not.

He then started banging the door again causing me to come back to reality.

I opened the door slowly, only to be met with the Greek god's face. He looked so handsome. His face was like a charm that just kept luring me in.

"Are you going to let me in or are you just going to keep checking me out." He said. He smirked at me then stared back we if it was a challenge. "I honestly don't mind, but I'm getting a little tide standing outside in this wind." He said.

That's when I noticed how messy his hair looked. I wanted to run my hands through it.

He looked so good yet he made it look so effortless.

I rolled my eyes at him and stood away from the door for him to get in.

We then walked into the sitting room where everyone was sitting. I could feel his gaze on me as I walked. Why did I even open that door?

"I see you've already met each other," Mr Greene said.

We both looked at each other in confusion before looking back at him again.

"Mind my manners, Charles son this is Elizabeth the girl you are going to marry and Elizabeth this is Charles, my son." Mr Greene said.

"What?" We both said at the same time with frowns on our faces.

"Mother you can't be serious about me marrying this gold digger. I need someone on my level, not some damp ass b***h."

On his level of stupidity.

"Excuse me, how can you just insult me like that. It's not as if I want to marry someone as arrogated as you anyway." I snapped.

"Don'ts be too cocky, the only way someone like you can ever get someone like me is on the front cover of a magazine. That's as close as you'll ever get." He snapped back.

The nerves of this guy and his arrogance. Did you honestly think that highly of himself? I needed to set him straight.

"Excuse me, but the only place your face will ever qualify for is on the ad section of a newspaper saying 'Help, I need a better personality'" I was imitating his voice.

"OK, enough, both of you!" Mrs Greene yelled, the tone in her voice immediately got both our attention. "I will not stand here and watch both of you argue like a bunch of animals. Even animals have better manners! Now, you two idiots are going to shut up and we are going to have a peaceful dinner with no one complaining!" Mrs Greene continued to yell. "Nothing is going to change only your faces and I don't care."

After that, we both nodded our heads yes and walked to the dinner table silently glaring at each other.

Mrs Greene might have looked nice but when she gets angry you don't want to mess with her.

I have never seen my mother this angry. She was glaring at me from the corner of the room, honestly, I didn't care.

At the dinner table, no one dared to alter a word. I could only hear the sound of forks and plates and the empty silence that was roaming amongst us.

After a few bits, I lost my appetite. I didn't feel like eating anymore.

"Ellie, why aren't you eating your food?" Dad asked, loud enough for everyone to hear.

Everyone turned to look at me.

"I'm not really hungry," I replied staring at my plate of food avoiding eye contact.

Charles chuckled.

"That's the first," Charles said.

"I mean when you look that fat, gym memberships aren't that expensive." He whispered to me.

I clenched onto my fork irritated by his voice. This evening he had done nothing but insult me. I had had it with him.

So I did the next best thing.

I lifted my leg as high as I could then stepped onto his foot.

He groaned, he formed his lips into a line in pain. He turned to glare at me as I smirked back at him.

"Charles, are you okay. You look a little pale." Mom said.

"Yes I'm fine," he answered turning back to his plate.

I smiled victoriously knowing I'd won.

Charles just kept glaring at me as if I had grown an eye on my forehead.

Throughout dinner, we kept exchanging insults and mom glared at me.

After dinner they left, they had decided to leave the talking for another day since we were all still digesting the news.

I was finally relieved when he left. I felt like I could finally breathe. I just hope I wake up tomorrow and find this was only a dream.

"What a day it has been," I whispered to myself.

I kicked my shoes off. Without changing out of my dress, I slipped into my blankets. I finally fell into a deep slumber.
