In Castle Annovae, within a large cell at a back corner; a were-being is starting to transform. It is painful, confusing and causes the poor gentleman to howl.
First, the sound of a foot stamping on the floor in the doorway.
Second, 'What is this unwelcome disturbance, in my castle, at this time of night!'
There stands the queen (wearing a two piece set of pajamas with royal purple ribbon trim). She has a remarkably sculpted body and wears a silver and diamond crown on her head.
The queen raises an accusing finger towards the were-being 'The regent of this realm demands an answer!'
The were-being makes a sound much like "RRUUHHNN?!?"
Stepping backwards, with each step the transformation reverses.
He plops onto the bench at the back and says "ImSoSorryPleaseForgiveMe, y..your..r majesty."
The queen harrumphs and stomps away along a sidelong hall.
Towards the middle of the hall she meets Emme.
With broad smiles that range into giggles, they whisper: "Ohh. You were right that is an incredible thrill. I am all fluttery. Incredibly empowering!"
Emme: "I knew you would enjoy it. Say hello to the king for me."
Queen: "Ohh I could wake him up couldn't I? I think I will. Show him how fluttery I am and tell him why afterwards."
Emme heads back to the cells. Her assistant has collected the reagent papers and written down anything the patient remembered (sights, colors, sound). He shows the completed evidence for her review.
She goes to the new patient, "There see. The transformation can be reversed, can be controlled. You should have no doubt of it. With powders and possibly potions it will easier to control. Be sure to get rest tonight."
She takes away the collected reagent samples and the paperwork.
Her assistant adopts a "guardsman" sleep pose. Resembling sleep to outward observers. A skill from his former job.
It is comforting to see the assistant sleep, he has nothing to fear. The patient does get to rest.
Expectation management is an important part of transformational control treatments.
